    A. Definition

    Opinion is a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based


    on fact or knowledge. (Oxford Dictionary)
    Opinions are based on beliefs, points of view, an d personal interpretation. Kata
    kerja yang biasanya digunakan dalam opini adalah agree (setuju), believe (percaya),
    reckon (memperhitungkan), doubt (meragukan), assume (berasumsi), don't agree
    (tidak setuju), think (rasa/pikir).

    B. Social Function
    The social function is to share a point of view, so explain that they need to be
    provide detailed supportive reasons for their opinion. This will make their opinion
    powerful and believeable.
