LEARNING OUTLINES:
Pre Lesson Teacher is to ask pupils what are fruit and vegetable. Pupils are then to share their answers.
(5 Minutes)
1.  Pupils are to refer to textbook page 54. Pupils are then to look at the picture and read each word
aloud. Pupils are then to repeat the activity.
2. Teacher is to ask pupils to question on the page, “Is it important to eat fruits and vegetable to be
healthy?”. Pupils are then to conduct a think-pair-share session.
3.Next, pupils are to be introduced to the _____ is/are my favourite fruit/vegetable.
Lesson Development
4. Pupils are to practise the sentence using their favourite fruit/vegetable in groups of 3.
(50 Minutes) 5. A sorting worksheet is to be given to pupils. Teacher is to explain that pupils are to cut and paste the
pictures in the correct category.
6. Pupils are then to complete the sorting activity as teacher checks pupils’ answers and also guide
pupils to complete the sorting.

Post Lesson Teacher is to paste the fruit and vegetable posters on the board. Pupils are to check their own answers
and tick using a red colour pencil.

1.Pupils are then to be given a quiz set to complete individually.
2. Teacher is then to demonstrate ways to answer each page with an example.
