1. Use factorization method to solve the following:


𝑥 + 2𝑦 + 7𝑧 = 6, 2𝑥 + 3𝑦 + 𝑧 = 0, 3𝑥 + 4𝑦 + 5𝑧 = 4
2. A gas station sells three types of gas: Regular for $2.80 a gallon, performance plus for
$3.00 a gallon and premium for $3.20 a gallon on a particular day 3900 gallons of gas
were sold for a total of $11,460. Two times as many gallons of Regular as premium gas
were sold. Use Factorization method to determine how number of gallons of each type of
gas were sold that day.
3. Express the Taylor’s series expansion for f (x, y) = x2y+3y-2 in powers of (x-1) & (y+2).
4. Determine the Taylor’s series expansion of the function f (x, y) = sin (x y) in powers of

Determine the direction in which it should fly.
