SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL PERFORMANCE TASK


2nd Semester, Academic Year 2021-2022

Subject/s: Personal Development
Objectives (3-4) In this performance task, the students are expected to:
1. Identify the changes that occurred in various aspects of the whole person development
2. Evaluate one’s development in comparison with persons of the same group
3. Understand the changes that one has to go thru as part of the development process
Title of Performance Task: Glow – Up Challenge
Description (at least 50 words)

Adolescence is the developmental transition to adulthood that includes rapid changes in the brain and body,
often at different rates and is a time for healthy exploration of identity and learning independence. It can also be a
stressful or challenging because of the rapid changes.

Although every adult has gone through puberty and has personal experience with this transition, it is still
important to understand the different types of changes occurring physical, cognitively, psychologically, socially and
spiritually.

Procedure (at least 3-5 steps)


1. In this performance task, each student must upload a 2 pictures of themselves from when they were on puberty
stage and at present.
2. Students must identify the changes, experiences and adjustment that happened to them based on the 5 aspects
of Whole Person Development (physical, cognitive, psychological, social and spiritual).
3. Student must also reflect and answer the question:
1. With the changes (physical, cognitive, psychological, social and spiritual) that happened to you, share at least 3
experiences that were most challenging to you,
how did you overcome it, and how this have helped and made you as to who you are today?
Note: Essay must be answered with a minimum of 250 words.
4. Output can be submitted as PDF or as a PPT File (filename: LAST NAME_PT2).Alternatively, a video can be
submitted.
