Processing Question:
1. Explain ways self-concept can be destroyed and built.
Self-concept is a vital aspect of mental health and well-being, and it can be both
destroyed and built through a variety of means. Negative self-talk, exposure to
negative feedback, self-destructive behaviors, significant life changes, and negative
people can all contribute to the destruction of self-concept. On the other hand,
positive self-talk, setting and achieving personal goals, surrounding oneself with
supportive people, practicing self-care, engaging in activities that bring joy, exposure
to positive feedback, learning new things, and seeking therapy can all contribute to
building a positive self-concept
