1. Introduction
This manual describes how to operate the Key Management System, which is a Web-based
application. Shown below is a menu for dealers.

2. Dealer Registration
To use Key Management System, you must register to obtain an official user ID and a password
to log in. You have two options to register as follows.
Registration by Dealer
Sales company/ Agent will e-mail a pre-registration ID and a password for official registration
to you. Please enter your information in the web site by yourself. After your sales company/
agent approves your request, you will get an official user ID and a password.

Please note that your superior authorities, such as sales companies, agents and regional
authorities, can operate the following:
Reference and editing of dealer account information
Reference of dealers' download records of Activation Key Files
Setting of availability for dealers’ download
1) Sales company/ Agent register dealer information: company name, country, address,
e-mail address and so on.
2) Key Management System sends an e-mail included user ID, password, and URL to the
registered dealer.

2-2. Registration by Dealer
1) Obtain a pre-registration ID, a password and an entry URL from your sales company/
agent.

To apply for registration is available.
2) Access the entry URL then enter the pre-registration ID and the password to log in.
- Pre-registration ID is due to expire in 30 days
- Please apply for official registration as soon as possible.
3) Enter dealer information: company name, country, address, and e-mail address etc. Then
click [Next step] button.
4) After confirming the contents, click [Apply] button.
5) The System automatically sends the approval request e-mail to your sales company/
agent. Click [Logout] button to exit.
6) After the sales company/ agent approved the request, the dealer obtains a user ID, a
password and a URL by e-mail as follows.

3. Downloading Activation Key File
There are two types of download: “Activation Key File” and “Temporary Activation Key
File.”
IMPORTANT)
One Activation Key File runs only once per Activation Key Number.
Please be careful not to have mistakes when you download Activation Key Files.
You are not allowed to download an Activation Key File into any other MPR ID except
already downloaded one.
Each MPR ID can download the same Activation Key File again that has been
downloaded before.
For details about the procedure to p. 6 “3-1. Activation Key File”
E.g. MPR ID might change for replacement of PCB due to PBX Hardware malfunction. A
Temporary Activation Key File substitutes for the official one during repairing the PBX. It
helps to avoid inconveniences to end users.
IMPORTANT)
“Temporary Activation Key File” is valid for 10 days from the date of download.
You are allowed to use the Activation Key at no charge during the validity
Please have a MPR ID to download “Temporary Activation Key File”.
Please re-download "Temporary Activation Key File" if the Activation Keys are expired
before completing MPR cards repairs.

7) Select Each Model or Package Model about Activation Key Model and then
enter the Activation key Number and the Registration ID.
-One Activation Key File can store the data of up to eight Activation Keys.
Enter the Activation Key Number and the Registration ID. You can repeat this operation
up to eight times continuously by click [Add more] button. To go on to the next step, click
[End of enter] button
Enter the Activation Key Number and the Registration ID. To go on to the next step, click
[End of enter] button.

- Not allowed to download an Activation Key File into any other MPR ID except
downloaded one.
- Each MPR ID is allowed to download the same Activation Key File that has been
downloaded before.
8) If you want to receive the Activation Key Files by e-mail in addition to download, mark in
the check box beside “E-mail Address.” You can change the e-mail address, as you want.
An e-mail is sent by the system when download completed.
“Existing Activations Keys List” shows all the keys that you have downloaded before.
Please use the existing list for your confirmation of new download.
9) Save the Activation Key Files on your PC that is installed maintenance console.
10) Connecting the maintenance console with PBX, it is able to remote connect, and install
the Activation Key Files from PC to PBX.
11) Reset the PBX.

3-2. Temporary Activation Key File
1) Access the URL then enter your user ID and password to log in.
2) Select [Download Activation Key Files] button on the menu page.
3) Select a model to download then click [Next step] button
4) Select “Temporary Activation Key Files” and click [Next step] button.
5) Enter the MPR ID written on a MPR ID Tag then click [Next step] button.
6) Enter necessary quantities of Activation Keys per Model No. then click [Next step] button.
7) You can also receive the Activation Key Files by e-mail in addition to download. To
receive the files by email too, please mark in the check box beside “E-mail Address.” You
can change the e-mail address as you want.
-Temporary Activation Key File is valid for 10 days from the date of download.
-Please, re-download “Temporary Activation Key File” in case that the Activation Keys are
expired before completing MPR cards repairs.
8) Save the Activation Key Files on your PC that is installed maintenance console.
9) Connecting the maintenance console with PBX, it is able to remote connect, and install
the Activation Key Files from PC to PBX.
10) Reset the PBX.

4. Issuing Registration Key (Keycode)
This section describes how to issue/re-issue Registration Keys for the software products.
To obtain Registration Keys, you need the following information.
License Number: 11 or 20 alphanumeric characters attached to the software package.
Registration ID: 8 alphanumeric characters attached to the software package.
Registration Number: 16 numeric characters that is generated automatically on the
license registration screen when you install the software.
Note) To re-issue Registration Keys, please repeat 1) through 6) in section 4-1Registration Key.
If you enter a new Registration Number on 6), a screen will appear to reset the previously issued
Registration Key. After the reset, you will move to the re-issue screen automatically.
1) Purchase a CD-ROM of software products and take out a paper on which a License
Number and Registration ID is printed.
2) Access the URL then enter your user ID and password to log in.
3) Select [Issue Registration Key] button on the menu page.
4) Select a model to download and click [Next step] button.
5) Enter a License No. and Registration ID that printed on the paper, and then click [Next
step] button.
- To enter a License Number, please select an appropriate either field for 20-digits or
11-digits.
Note) If you access with a user ID and password that issued by the old Panasonic web
site, you see the License Number field for 11-digits only. To enable enter a 20-digits
License Number, please contact your sales company/agent and obtain a new user ID and
password.
6) Enter a Registration No. and required information: company name, system model, and
extension number. Then click [Next Step] button.
- Required information might differ depends on the selected model on 4).
After entering [Next Step] button on this screen, you will move to the following screen
automatically:
- If you enter an existing License Number, you will move to the screen of 7).
- If you enter a new License Number, you will move to the screen of 8).
7) You can reset the previously issued Registration Key and make re-issuable status.
Please enter the old Registration Key and select reason of re-issue, and then click [Next
Step] button.
8) Please confirm the contents and enter the required information: installer, e-mail address
and subject. Then click [Issue] button.
9) An issued Registration Key appears on the screen and is sent to the e-mail address you

specified on 8).
- To continue issuing Registration Keys, click [go to STEP1] button and repeat the
procedure from 4).
5. Making Report
You can obtain the history of download Activation Key Files/Registration keys. These files are
saved into CSV files; therefore, it helps to manage your download Activation Key
Files/Registration Keys easier.
1) Access the URL then enter your user ID and password to login.
2) From the category of PBX products or Software products on the menu, select [Make
Report] button.
3) 1. Select a content of report from the following two options
Download summary: describes your downloading summary per day.
Download history: describes the detailed history that you have downloaded.

3. Enter the period that you want to output
4. Click [Download] button.
-Select “Save” when you are asked whether execute or save, and save the report files on
your PC.
-These files are saved into CSV files.
4) Click [Return to menu] button to go back to the menu page
6. Changing Password
1) Access the URL then enter your user ID and password to log in.
2) Select [Change Password] on the menu page.
3) Enter your current password, a new password and re-type the new password for
confirmation then click [Submit] button.
IMPORTANT) your new password must meet the following password requirements.
-Must contain at least eight (8) characters and up to 10 characters.
-Password may consist of A - Z, a-z, 0-9.
4) After confirming “completion of changing password” appears on the page, click [Return to
menu] button or [Logout]. New password is available from the next login.
- Please contact your sales company/agent if you forget your password..

7. Searching MPR ID or Activation Key No./ License No.
You can search MPR IDs and Activation Key Numbers/License Numbers.
1) Access the URL and enter your user ID and password to login.
2) Select [Search MPR/SYSTEM ID] / [Search] button on the menu page.
PBX products: please see the A to C below.
Software products: please see the D to E below.
Search MPR IDs or Activation Key Numbers, using one of the following three methods.
A. Click [Search] button leaving criteria blank
- You will find a list that shows all the MPR IDs and Activation Key Numbers that you have
downloaded.
C. Enter an Activation Key No. (20 digits) with or without hyphen. E.g.
0123-4567-89AB-CDEF-0123 or 0123456789ABCDEF0123. Then Click [Search] button
- You will find a MPR ID associated with the Activation Key Number, and all the Activation Key
Numbers associated with the MPR ID that you have found.
To Search License numbers and associated user information, use either of the following methods.
D. Enter a Registration Key (16 digits) with or without hyphen. E.g. 0123-4567-89AB-CDEF or
0123456789ABCDEF. Then Click [Search] button
- You will find a License No. associated with the Registration Key and user information that you
registered when issuing the Registration Key.
E. Enter a License No. (20 digits) with or without hyphen. E.g. 0123-4567-89AB-CDEF-0123 or
0123456789ABCDEF0123. Then Click [Search] button
- You will find associated user information that you entered when issuing the Registration Key.
- You are unable to search with 11-digits License Numbers when they are used to issue

8. Editing Account
You can edit your account information: Company name, Country, Zip/ Postal Code, Address,
Contact person, and E-mail address.
1) Access the URL and enter your user ID and password to login
2) Select [Edit account] button on the menu page
3) Modify data that you want to change and click [Submit] button. You will then automatically
go back to the menu page.
- To modify an e-mail address, you need to enter a new e-mail address in both” e-mail
address” and “E-mail address confirmation.” When keeping an e-mail address
unchanged, leave the “E-mail address confirmation” field blank.
You can download an operating manual that describes how to operate the Key Management
System.
1) Access the URL and enter your user ID and password to login.
2) Select [Download operating manual] button on the menu page.
3) Save the PDF file on your PC for reference.

2) Click on the “Contact” hyperlink to send a massage to your sales company/ agent.
3) Confirm or overwrite your e-mail address and name to receive reply from your sales
company/ agent.
Review your e-mail address, your name, and a message then Click [Submit] button. Your sales
company/ agent will reply to your message.
Note) The fields in “Your e-mail address” and “Your name” reflect registered account information
by default. If you want to update the registered account information, you need to change your
account information from [Edit Account] menu.
You can try the demonstration how to obtain Activation Key Files or Registration Keys.
- This is for demonstration purposes only. Please note that obtained keys are invalid.

1) From the category of PBX products or Software products on the menu, click [Download
Demo] button.
2) The required information to download is all set by default. Please just click [Next Step]
buttons and see how to obtain the Activation Key Files/ Registration Keys.
Under maintenance of the Key Management System, the screen below will appear to indicate
the system is unavailable.
