    Dear Mr. Uba,

    The Management of Gothong Southern is pleased to accept and confirm your appointment as
    Purchasing Staff under the OCFO effective February 28, 2022.

    Please be informed that you are appointed as a Probationary for a maximum of one hundred
    eighty (180) days from February 28, 2022 until August 27, 2022. Within the duration of your
    probationary appointment, the company reserves the right to exercise the following prerogatives:

    1. Transfer you to another work or place of assignment where your competencies would be fully
    harnessed.
    2. Evaluate your performance as early as the second (2nd) month of your probationary
    appointment to determine the necessity of your continued service to the remaining four (4)
    months.
    3. Evaluate your performance on the fourth (4th) month in your probationary appointment to
    determine your fitness and suitability to the job and culture fit in the company to merit a
    regularization appointment.
    4. Impose the appropriate sanctions for violations to company rules and regulations, or even
    DISMISSAL FROM SERVICE if the violation warrants it.
    5. Terminate your probationary appointment within the 6-months period as a result of your failure
    to meet the standards set by the company.

    Please be guided further of the following terms and conditions in your probationary employment:

    1. Employment regularization is a joint responsibility between you, your immediate head, your
    Division Head and the HR Division. Delayed submission of lacking employment requirements
    will result to non-regularization and termination of employment.
    2. Within a period of two (2) years from resignation, you shall not engage in nor shall seek
    employment from or be employed with competitor companies or whose line of business is
    similar to Gothong Southern, such as Shipping, Logistics and Ports and other related
    businesses.

    Should your next employer be of the same line of business as Gothong Southern, you shall need
    to seek and obtain expressed approval from the CEO of Gothong Southern to exempt yourself from
    this clause with the assurance that you shall undertake not to directly or indirectly solicit existing
    customers, prospective customers and account shares of Gothong Southern in favor of your new
    company and to preserve the confidentiality of all Gothong Southern Data or Information as
    described in detail in the InfoSec Policy.

    Standards of the Philippine Laws as mandated. Effectivity date of changes in rates and benefit, if
    applicable, is when the appointment notice was approved and completely signed by all parties
    concerned.

    This appointment notice will be deemed terminated on or before your sixth (6th) month unless a
    notice for regularization will be received.
