    EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 02


    Series of 2021

    “AN EXECUTIVE ORGANIZING BARANGAY TANOD HEALTH PATROLs”

    WHEREAS, Item no. 06 of Regional Inter-Agency Task Force, Resolution no. 25 series
    of June 4, 2021 direct all barangay to organize barangay COVID-19 operations center and
    barangay tanod health patrols;

    WHEREAS, Section 3, paragraph 2 of Executive Order no. 37 series of 2021 dated June
    30, 2021 states that all arrival in each barangay throughout the province shall be checked and
    monitored by the Barangay Tanod Health Patrol;

    NOW THEREFORE, I, HON. ELENITA M. GUSTON, Punong Barangay of


    Barangay Pancho Villa, Sogod, Southern Leyte, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law,
    do hereby order the organization of Barangay Tanod Health Patrols;

    SECTION 1. Composition. The Barangay Tanod Health Patrol Team shall be composed of
    the following:

    1. All Barangay Officials


    2. All Barangay Health Worker
    3. All Barangay Tanod
    4. Barangay Purok Leader/Volunteers

    SECTION 2. Function. The Barangay Tanod Health Patrol Team shall have the following
    function:

     Check and monitor all arrivals in the barangay and immediately report the same to
    BHERT.

    • Strictly implement and monitor the observance of the minimum health protocols.

    • Enforce surveillance, monitoring and reporting of public gatherings.

    • Regularly inspect, especially on weekends and public holidays, sports, recreation and
    leisure facilities such as parks, gymnasiums, resorts, church to ensure that social
    distancing is being maintained at all times in coordination with city/municipal PNP and
    BFP.
    • Consistent with applicable IATF regulations and city/municipal ordinances, regulate
    limit or prohibit public gatherings such as drinking, sabong, tupada, fiesta, parades, beauty
    contests, processions and other religious events, cultural festivals, and pool and other
    water recreational activities.

     Provide emergency numbers to the community members for reporting of incidents of


    mass gatherings.

     Coordinate with City/Municipal COVID-19 operations center, PNP stations, BFP


    stations for assistance on the enforcement of mass gathering rules.

    SECTION 3. Effectivity. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
