Statement of the Problem

This research study’s primary objective is to identify the effectiveness of the study guides in

PCU-UHSM junior high school.

Specifically, the researchers seek to gain answers to the following questions:

1. What is the level of perception of student in terms of the following dimension of study

habit:

1.1. Planning and Time Management

1.2. Note-taking Preparation

1.3. Motivation and Interest

2. What is the academic performance of the students?

3. Is there a significant difference in the perception of students in the dimensions of study

habits and their academic performance?

4. Based on the result, what study guide can be formulated.
