DANGER! CORROSIVE Harmful if absorbed through the skin. May cause adverse liver, kidney, and CNS
effects. Harmful or fatal if swallowed or inhaled. Causes eye burns. May cause adverse reproductive
effects. Adverse reproductive effects reported in animals.

INGESTION
Liver and kidney injuries may occur. May be fatal if swallowed. Harmful if swallowed. Causes
vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea. Irritation of the mouth, throat, and stomach.

SKIN
Harmful if absorbed through the skin. Skin absorption may cause kidney damage. May cause skin
irritation.

INHALATION
Symptoms of overexposure may be headache, dizziness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting. Harmful if
inhaled. Causes irritation of the mouth, nose, and throat. May cause damage to nasal and respiratory
passages.

EYES
Causes severe eye irritation may damage tissue. May cause permanent eye damage. May cause
corneal injury.

INGESTION
Get medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting as the substance contains volatile
chemicals. Vomiting may increase risk.

Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water for at least 15 minutes.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN
This product is a corrosive material. Gastric lavage or emesis may be contraindicated. Ingestion
or inhalation may result in shock, decreased blood pressure, pulmonary edema, CNS depression,
edema of the glottis with asphyxia, and perforation of the esophagus or stomach. Inhalation of
vapors or fumes may result in coughing, choking, and CNS effects followed after a 6-8 hour latent
period by pulmonary edema with tightness in the chest, air hunger, dizziness, frothy sputum, and
cyanosis. Physical findings may include moist rales, low blood pressure, and high pulse
pressure. Hemoptysis and dyspnea may continue for several weeks. Prednisolone may reduce
esophageal stricture formation.
