    Greetings everyone!

    What a wonderful day to start the day by empowering


    women especially mothers. I am Mr. Franciliso and I am the opening
    statement of the affirmative side. I will 1st define our topic. Our topic have 3
    key points. Seafarer wife, should, and stay home mom.

    Seafarers wife is also known as the sailors queen the woman who decides in
    her heart and mind to marry a sailor and hold hands through smooth seas and
    rough weather.

    Should here in a verb use to show what is appropriate especially when


    criticizing somebody’s actions. By oxfordlearners dictionary

    Stay home mom- the modern day definition of stay at home mom is someone
    who may or may not have left the workforce to stay home and raise her
    children.

    Article 15 of the 1987 constitution states that The State recognizes the
    Filipino family as the foundation of the nation. Accordingly, it shall strengthen
    its solidarity and actively promote its total development. Marriage, as an
    inviolable social institution, is the foundation of the family and shall be
    protected by the State. The right of children to assistance, including proper
    care and nutrition, and special protection from all forms of neglect, abuse,
    cruelty, exploitation and other conditions prejudicial to their development. In
    the Philippines Family comes first among any other priorities in life. A typical
    Filipino family is composed of father, mother, with children and may also
    include an extended family.

    The Duties of the parent are as stated in the presidential decree 603 and
    chapter 3 art 46 states that children should be given affection, companionship
    and understanding. Failure of a parent to provide, for reasons other than
    poverty, adequate food, clothing, shelter, basic education or medical care so as
    to seriously endanger the physical, mental, social and emotional growth and
    development of the child is answerable to R.A. 7610 which is the child abuse
    law in other words neglecting of your child is considered as child abuse.
    Based on the lawful and moral grounds given above it is really appropriate as
    in should that seafarers wives stay at home. Being a stay-at-home parent gives
    you more time with your children, which can also help you identify possible
    behavioral or developmental challenges early on. Instead of relying on
    feedback from outside caregivers, stay-at-home parents can observe their
    child's behavior firsthand. According to new times CHILDREN are the future of
    a family and our hidden treasures. When they are born, they are welcomed
    into the family and as they grow they learn different things from their parents.
    These lessons include respect for each other and life in general.

    Having children is not about reproduction but we are manufacturing the next
    generation. According to our respectable Philippine national hero dr, jose rizal
    “ang kabataan ang pag asa ng bayan” the world tomorrow will be determined
    by what kind of mother you are today so every mother should be proud and
    honored for taking the responsibility of raising our future generation

    What we argue here on our side is not about depriving woman of their rights
    but the otherwise, we want woman to be empowered, to be proud in
    becoming the solid light in their homes, paving the path for the future
    generation for the future of our nation.

    Family code title 3 art 73 Either spouse may exercise any legitimate
    profession, occupation, business or activity without the consent of the other.
    The latter may object only on valid, serious, and moral grounds.
