Acceptance criteria
Natural sand 4.75 mm retained should not be more than 20%
600 micron passing should be more than 20%
Silt content should not be more than 7% by volume
Crushed sand 4.75 mm retained should not be more than 5%
600 micron passing should be more than 30%
150 micron passing should not be more than 15%
75 micron passing should not be more than 10%
10 mm coarse Organic material should not be present
Aggregate White spots should not be present
Stone dust should not be present
Flakiness should not be more than 20%
10 mm passing should be more than 85%
4.75 mm passing should not be more than 10%
2.36 mm passing should not be more than 5%
