for desert and brown/orange
for plateau.
Mark the place/feature
accurately.
Keep the map neat & clean. Use
sharp pencil or black ball pen.
Don’t forget to write your
Index no, UID, and answer
no.
Use Index for shading a
region like soil,
population, etc.
Avoid Over shading of
an area.
Special care for marking a
spot for a particular city or
feature. Use △ for peak and
red circle for city.
Main river should be marked
from head to the mouth but
tributary should be marked
from Head to the point where
they join the main river.
Read the question carefully, if
it is asked to shade and label or
mark and label or simply label.
