Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Becoming a lawyer is a very hard thing
to achieve. You have to go through so much pain, misery, and sometimes even
depression just to have this prestigious job. But when I look at all of you, I know
that you'll achieve this, and I know that you'll strive! I think everyone here already
knows who I am. If you don't know yet, I am J.D. ABCDEF Rowil C. Donato, the
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines and a proud alumnus of
MNHS College of Law,

One thing that I was sure of when I enrolled in the College of Law was that I
AM GOING TO BE A LAWYER. As others would say, if you want to be a lawyer, you
should mot only aspire for it; you should want it more than anything else!

Becoming a lawyer is a destiny. I believed that God long before I was born,
planned for me to become a lawyer. This mystery became apparent at times when I
experienced difficulties in my studies.

To the undergraduates of the MNHS College of Law, my advice would be as


follows:
1. Believe. Right from the moment you enrolled in law school, believe
that God has a great plan for you. Everything that happens in your
life is for a good reason; a way of revealing your destiny. I know I am
not the only person who wanted this; I know for sure that God also
wants me to become on to administer laws. Parang si Sailor Moon!
Tagapagtanggol ng pag-ibig at katarungan.
2. Secondly, study just enough. Do not strain yourself too much, unless
feeling mo si Super Man ka! Study with a schedule and be faithful to
it.
3. Lastly, share what you know. As far as I remember during my days in
this mesmerizing institutions, I shared sample tips to my dorm mates
and to my review classmates.

Well, I have a lot to tell and share with you but I think I do not have any
time left. Thus I will end my speech with one last BANAT!

MNHS GRADUATE KA BA? EH KASI, SA BAR EXAM, SIGURADO PAPASA

today's event. Leaving you with one last message: “It is more important to have a
happy life than a so called successful life, because success can be defined in so
many ways. Just being is a success in itself!” Thank you for listening, and keep
dreaming to the stars and back!
