WORKSHEET 1.1B
NAME: Julie Ann Barca SCORE:

YEAR & SECTION: BSM- 2C DATE:

Write a short essay on the relevance of studying history

in relation to your course.

Understanding how past events influenced current events is one of the benefits of
studying history. Learning from the past helps us understand who we are and how
we got here, as well as how to prevent mistakes in the future and lead society in
better directions.

Why is history important for present-day (or future) company business? In the
business world, one must have a solid understanding of business history. History
develops the ability to evaluate any situation. It broadens the business field of
vision. It provides information about how the global economy, industrial structures,
and marketing strategies have changed over time. It gives insight into corporate
culture, business ethics, technology, and government-business relations.
Additionally, it improves one's ability to foresee potential dangers on the horizon
or around a corner. Simply said, history creates a framework for business to
comprehend the world.
