Buwan NG Wika
(Buwan ng Wika) after being in an online set up for almost 3 years because of the
pandemic. The school planned out to have a successful program for the students. With
that, the event was done last September 2, 2022.
Month of August marks the celebration of National Language Month (Buwan ng
Wika) with the theme: “Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Kasangkapan sa Pagtuklas at
Paglikha”. A total of 9 activity winners were announced during the event. Slogan
Making, Poster Making, Digital Poster Making, Paggawa ng Sanaysay, Lutong Pinoy,
General Information, Spoken Poetry, and Folk Dance.
On the 25th of August, Slogan Making was held on school and on the 2 nd of
September, the three winners were announced after the program. The 3 rd placer was
Preences Esteban, a Grade 11 student. The 2 nd placer was Lois Jellaine Tapang, a
Grade 12 student. And the 1st place goes to Angel Giah Marcial, a Grade 11 student
also.
The Poster Making Activity was held also on the 25 th of august and the winners
were announced on the 2nd of September. The 3rd placer was Ricardo Teodosio, a grade
12 student. The 2nd placer was Virdhan Joy Naguit, a grade 12 student also. While, the
1st placer was Zenaia Gabrielle Gumasing, also a grade 12 student.
The Digital Poster Making was also done on 25 th of august and the winners were
announced last September 2 The 2nd placer was Angel Giah Marcial, a grade 11
student. And the 1st placer was Icy Ortiz, a grade 12 student.
Next activity was Paggawa ng Sanaysay it was done also on the 25th of august.
The winners were announced after the program last September 2. The 3 rd place goes to
Vinz Danyael Ignacio, a grade 11 student. The 2 nd place goes to Angel Giah Marcial, a
grade 11 student. And the 1st place goes to Christian Dave Bengero, a grade 12
student.
On the 1st of September a Lutong Pinoy was held where students from grade 11
and grade 12 will represent some pinoy dish. The winners were also announced last
September 2, the 2nd place goes to grade 12 students, Samantha Nicole Julian and Karl
Jethro Derafera. And the 1st place goes to the grade 11 student, Ruzzell Jade Del
Rosario.
The Spoken Poetry was also done last September 1, and the winners were
announced last September 2. The 2nd place goes to Lois Jellaine Tapang, a grade 12
student and the 1st place goes to Lerry Christine Nicolas, a grade 11 student.
And last but not the least, the main highlight of the event last September 2, 2022.
The Grade 11 and Grade 12 students perform some Folk Dances. The winners were
also announced at the same day. The 2nd place goes to Grade 11 students and the 1st
place goes to Grade 12 students.
In this fast-paced era, where everything and everyone is still adjusting, it is still
an obligation of the institution to provide a high quality education to student but also to
enjoy things inside the school. It is really good to have Buwan Ng Wika Celebration
inside the school, for us to acknowledge the Language that we have,
