The GENERAL SANTOS CITY POLICE OFFICE is a duly registered Government
Agency, operating under the laws of the Philippines, with principal address at CAMP
FERMIN G. LIRA, GENERAL SANTOS CITY, represented in this Agreement by its
CITY DIRECTOR, PCOL JOMAR ALEXIS A YAP, Filipino, of legal age, and
hereinafter referred to as the “SECOND PARTY”;
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Department of Education had issued Order No. 30, series of
2017 that states the Guidelines for Work Immersion as basis for the implementation
of work immersion in all public and private Senior High School (SHS), School Year
2016-2017, onwards;

WHEREAS, the SHS curriculum can be customized at the local levels to take
into consideration the needs of local industries and the labor market;
WHEREAS, DepEd believes that for the effective delivery of SHS instruction,
there is a need for school-industry partnerships that will provide the school with the
necessary expertise and venue for practical, on-the-job, enterprise-based training for
SHS learners;
WHEREAS, the General Santos City Police Office, under Police Regional
Office 12 of the Philippine National Police (PNP), as mandated by law shall enforce
the law, maintain peace and order, ensure public safety and internal security with the
active support of the community;
WHEREAS, the General Santos City Police Office shall enhance the
knowledge and skills of each and every Cronasia OJT students by instilling discipline
within them while they are conducting On-the-Job Training in the PNP
offices/precincts under and/or covered by the AOR of General Santos City Police
Office (GSCPO); thus, the PNP shall encourage and promote excellence in the
performance of their On-the-job duties;
WHEREAS, both parties agree that their respective mandates and objectives
as well as their shared vision towards strengthening partner institutions in molding,
providing efficient and effective leaders and professional in the field of law
enforcement and public safety, scientific crime detection and investigation.

4. Develop mutually beneficial programs, projects and activities that would
develop instruction, research, knowledge, product, conduct seminars and
symposia in the DepEd objectives of meeting the demands of globally
competitive professionals;
6. Provide and equip the students with the appropriate knowledge and
expertise in their chosen field of endeavor to be competent future law
enforcers in all its aspects especially in crime prevention and control,
maintenance of peace, and ensuring public safety and internal security
with the active support of the community;
7. Mold the OJT students to become highly capable and prepared in their
chosen field of discipline;
10. Assures not to involve OJT students in legal police operations that will
expose them in dangerous situation and events; and
This agreement shall take effect this Academic year 2022-2023 and shall
continue its effect in the subsequent Academic Years, unless terminated by the
parties upon due notice and for just cause.
