PROFESSIONAL
The Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant Accredited Professional exam is intended for
individuals who have the knowledge, skills, and experience implementing Salesforce CPQ
and Salesforce Billing solutions. This Accredited Professional credential encompasses the
fundamental knowledge and consulting skills to scope, design, build, and deploy Revenue
Cloud solutions with repeated success for customers.
1. AUDIENCE DESCRIPTION
The Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant Accredited Professional exam is intended for
individuals who have broad knowledge of the Revenue Cloud platform and its capabilities,
Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing capabilities, and can troubleshoot and solve common
implementation challenges. Individuals attempting the Salesforce Revenue Cloud
Consultant Accredited Professional exam should generally have a minimum of 2-3 years of
implementation experience.
● Assess quote to cash business processes and the digital maturity of a client. (i.e.,
assess what is possible vs an aspiration)
● Challenge existing process and solutions while leveraging the Revenue Cloud product
as best practices
● Articulate the trade-offs involved in choosing one technical solution over another
● Align stakeholders on a solution and the business value it generates
● Model Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing solutions with consideration to scale and
performance factors
● Properly characterize use cases that translate the customer’s quote to cash vision
● Understand where the Revenue Cloud areas of risk are with the ability to develop
mitigating actions
● Implement within the boundaries an implementation methodology and product
management regimen
● Understand functional Accounting principles (ie GAAP, Rev Rec, GL)
● Lead Revenue Cloud solution discovery and design sessions
● Formulate solutions within the capabilities of the CPQ & Billing managed package
while understanding when to utilize platform extensibility (ie. WFR, Process
Automation)
● Develop a Revenue Cloud scope of work and project plan
● Implement the Revenue Cloud solution through build, test, deployment and adoption
● Communicate risks appropriately
● Be able to identify when the use of plugg-ins and APIs are needed with the ability to
describe the requirements to a developer
● Understand security models and limitations supporting the Revenue Cloud process
