3. All employees hired at McDonald’s are hired as part-time crew persons. As a crew
person I realize that the sales of the restaurants vary depending on the months of
the year. I realize that I may receive 40 hours on any given week and 5 hours on the
next. I am not guaranteed to work any certain number of hours. The hours I work

2nd time: Documented 7-day suspension
3rd time: Termination
5. Late Policy
If for any reason a crew person is going to be late for their scheduled time at work,
they must contact the restaurant to notify them that they will be late and an
estimated time of arrival. They must call at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning
of their shift. If it is more than 30 minutes past the beginning of the scheduled shift,
the person will be considered a NO SHOW. As a crew person I understand that
getting to work on time allows others to get off at their scheduled time. The
following rules will apply even when restaurant is notified of the crew person being
late:
6. No Show Policy
Revised 3/8/23.
If a crew person does not call in and/or does not come to work for his/her scheduled
shift the following actions will be taken:
If a crew person doesn’t show for 3 consecutive days, they will be documented as a
“Quit-No Notice” and will not be eligible for “rehire” with Gilley Enterprises Inc.
Documentation will still be done on any person that calls in even with a valid excuse.
The purpose of this is so we can keep up with repetitive call ins and can address any
excessive attendance issues. Texting the manager is not an acceptable form of
communication.
7. Sick Policy
A crew person that is sick for their scheduled shift has a few options. You must call
in with a 3-hour notice.
Each crew person will count their cash drawer prior to use. They must count it to
make sure they are beginning with $75.00. At the end of their scheduled shift they
will count down all monies in their drawer and leave the beginning $75.00 in cash

drawer. The manager will verify cash drawer and remaining money with employee
present. Each crew person is responsible for all money taken in during their
scheduled shift. No crew member will work on any drawer not assigned to them.
No crew member will ask any other crew member to work on a drawer assigned to
them.
Crew person will not accept any bill higher than a $20 without a manager present. If
they fail to call for a manager’s approval the crew person will be responsible for the
money and will be considered as a cash shortage if it is short at the end of the shift.
While working a register you will accept debit/credit cards from guest to pay for
their order. Please do not take those cards out of the view of that customer. The
card must be visible to the guest at all times. If for some reason a guest should leave
without their card, please give card to a manager immediately.
No crew person will alter an order in any way without a manager’s approval. A crew
person cannot use a manger’s code for any reason for anything.
If a refund slip or over ring is done on a register it must have a manager, crew
person, and customers signature on ticket. The ticket must be in register and turned
in with nightly paperwork.
If for any reason a crew person’s cash drawer should come up short $2.00 or more
the following actions will be taken:
If the cash drawer is $20.00 or more that is grounds for immediate termination.
