Roles and Responsibilities
Study of assembly drawings for new development Preparing break down reports for preventive maintenance. Checking of all pockets and inserts before fitting (Use Micrometer, Slip Gauges etc.) Check carefully for the Burrs, Sharp edges, Bulging of edges before fitting Checking of all pockets and inserts Before fitting Fitting of inserts and sub inserts in Core and Cavity housing Fitting of Guide Pillar and bushes Fitting of Ejector Guide Pillar and bushes Ejector pin assembly Parting line Blue matching of Core and Cavity Core/cavity Blue matching to be carried out by tapping with aluminum Rods and c-clamps Stoning to be done to get proper Blue matching Assemble the Top and Bottom plate Check for the Sufficient length of thread for the bolting Working of Pulling rod for Three Plate and stripper Ejection Lubricate all Sliding parts (Guide pillar and bush etc.) Fitting of cooling nipples, Locating Ring Checking of cooling circuit for leakages
