Lesson 2: What to Look for When You Revise
How Much Have You Learned?
Post-Test
Explain: What to look for when you revise? (10 pts.)
The first thing to do when revising you should check the content of your work if you
delivered the right topic you discuss. Proper punctuation is also the one you should look when
you revise because if you don’t put the right punctuation your readers may confused. Also
correct grammar and spelling of the words you put because they may think that you do not know
how to construct letters and that other words may be inserted if you do not read them over and
over again.

How Much Have You Learned?

Post-Test
Discuss the importance of Mechanics of Writing. (10 pts.)
It is very important to correct the grammar, put the correct punctuation and citation
because if you do not use it correctly you will be judged immediately just because they saw
something wrong with your writing especially if the professional re the one who read it. Through
this, it interacts well with your message and the reader understands it well. Because of this, the
words in the letter are given emotions such as question marks if you ask a question, period if you
want to stop reading for a while and much more. It helps us to facilitate and understand a read
because if you do not put it and follow the mechanics of writing, it is as if you are reading in
meaningless letter and without any emotion. For example, in your first letter you gave good ideas
but you did not use the mechanics of writing properly, the ending will also be difficult for
readers to understand but if you use it correctly the reader will still be interested it ends with a
clear, satisfying, and memorable conclusion.

Reflection/Learning Insights: (10 pts.)

What are importance of the basic principles of writing, the writing process, revising, and
mechanics of writing in our daily lives especially when you get a work in an office?

It is very important to communicate every day from home to work so you don't just need to
communicate in person, especially if you are far away from the person you are talking to. It is
important to follow the basic principles of writing, the writing process, revising and mechanics
of writing especially in work in the office because you will talk to your manager and sometimes
your boss will tell you to talk to clients so it is important the formal conversation. This allows
you to communicate the ideas that should be conveyed even if it is a letter and because of this
you know and can identify who you are talking to whether it is formal or informal writing. This
also makes it easier to write a letter especially if you are in the office and need an urgent letter to
send to the client. It is also important to see if there are any grammatical errors in your writing
and if to see if the ideas you put here are complete if they are detailed and there is no lack of
information so that the reader is not confused and clear.
