On Saturday, September 10th, 2011 we invite you to join us in the Emerson Room at 4pm as we reect on September 11th. Where were you? How did you learn This Sunday: We Remember- about it? How has the world Rev. Wendy Pantoja changed since then? Coee with be served. Discussion On this tenth anniversary of 9/11, we remember the events of a decade ago. How facilitated by Zoltan. have we been changed by them? How can we use that to realize the dream of peace?

Join Foundation Program in Miami- Any Wednesday in September!


What is Foundation Program? Foundation Program (FP) is a structured study program designed to support you in taking your practice of Buddha's teachings to a deeper level. It was designed by Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso as one of the three study programs in the New Kadampa Tradition of Buddhism. What will I learn? We are currently studying the book Eight Steps to Happiness: The Buddhist Way of Loving-Kindness, by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and are still quite close to the beginning ~ a perfect time to join! Classes focus on meditation, study, and discussion of the topics in the book. When and where does the class meet? Every Wednesday, 7-9:30pm, on an ongoing basis, at the Unitarian-Universalist Congregation of Miami, 7701 SW 76th Ave, Miami, FL 33143 ! Where can I go to learn more? OWL CLASSES Our Whole Lives curriculum and classes begin on September 11, 2011 in Room 3 and the Emerson Room. UU JAZZ Our rst concert of the series begins on Sunday, September 25th, 4pm in the Sanctuary. The Debbie Orta Quintet will grace our stage with veteran musicians.
