This document provides instructions for customizing the flash write protect status and using SPI mode when programming serial flash memory chips. It describes selecting write protect options that control which regions of flash are protected from writing. It also outlines the steps to run the flash programmer in SPI mode, including selecting the SPI speed. Release notes at the bottom list new features and fixes for previous versions of the flash programmer software.
