Pupils can talk about facts and routines using the present simple.
Pupils can listen and choose /iz/ sound words correctly.
1. Pupils play "guess who" game. Teacher reads the clue and pupils take turn to answer. (eg: Father & Mother are...?,
Your male sibling....Your female sibling.....Your parents mother.....)
2. Pupils in pairs given a double bubble map. Pupils work together and do activity 4 on page 24.
3. Teacher gives an example how to write sentences using present simple affirmative and negative . (e.g The Radford
family has breakfast at 6.46.but I have breakfast at 9.45am). Teacher reminds pupils to use 'but' for differences to
whole class.
ACTIVITY
4. Pupils complete their task and present it to the class.
5. Pupils give feedback on their friends presentation.
6. Pupils do activity 2 and 3. Teacher discuss the answers with pupils. Pupils who find difficult to identify the /iz/
and /s/ sound hear again the audio and do their corrections. (DS)(FA)

1. Teacher ask pupils to list their 'Special Days'.(e.g birthday, Chine New Year, Deepavali..)
2. Pupils listen to audio 1.25 and answer the questions verbally.
3. Pupils pairs use the same questions to ask and answer about their "Special day" (FA)
ACTIVITY
4. MK pupils given worksheet with question frames. Pupils ask the questions and write the answers in column given.
5. Pairs present their dialogue in class and get feedback from their friends. (FA)
