 I completed ‘X grade’ in the year 2015. Subsequently, I completed my ‘XII grade’ in the year
2017, followed by a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from 2017-
2021.

 I have completed my ‘X grade’ & ‘XII grade’from Surabi Matriculation Higher Secondary
School, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, India which is affiliated to the State Board of Tamil Nadu.

Sri Krishna College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India - affiliated with Anna

 The course I have selected at the University of Hertfordshire is “MBA – MASTER OF BUSINESS
ADMINISTRATION”.

b. Student should be aware of difference between MSc/MA, or BSC/BEng/BA.


 I am aware of the difference between the MSc and MA. The MSc (Master of Science) focuses
on disciplines like Engineering, sciences, technologies, mathematics, and businesses,
whereas the MA (Master of Arts) involves history, humanities, architecture, journalism, fine
art, English literature and others.

3) Why have you selected this course?


a. How is it related to your previous studies?
 My previous study was Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
 MBA gives an engineer the broader business knowledge to make strategic business decisions
and to understand the full impact of those decisions. Also, need to be able to manage
people.
 An understanding of the business from all aspects including marketing, sales, finance, and
supply chain are critical in a senior leadership role.

b. About the course


 The course MBA – MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION is an internationally-recognized
degree designed to develop the skills required for careers in business and management.
 MBA can also be useful for those pursuing a managerial career in the public sector,
government, private industry, and other areas.
 MBA programs include a "core" curriculum of subjects, such as accounting, economics,
marketing, and operations, as well as elective courses that allow participants to follow their
own personal or professional interests.
 It also helps to complete an internship at a company or organization, which can lead to
concrete job opportunities after the program
 It is also a great way to prepare for a changing business environment. The abilities that I
develop are also the best tools I have to adapt to the unavoidable change of industries, the
marketplace, and to do business.

 There are six modules including the optional modules with a total of 180 credits. All the
modules are with 30 credits.

 My most interesting modules of this course are Financial Management and Analytics, and
Operations and Business Analytics as it is related to my study of interest.
 The reason that I interested is because Finance plays an important role in increasing the
value of your business. Finance is finding its way as an important business function and it
overlaps with analytics in many areas.

4) Your Career Aspiration.


a. What are you planning to do after completion of the course?
 My plan is to build my own business which requires implementation of creative and flexible
management strategies. Hence, I am applying to this graduate program with an aim to
update my skills and learn invaluable business principles

b. If already in job, reason for you to leave and do further studies.
 No, I am not working.

c. How does the course you have selected will help you in meeting your career aspiration?
 The course MBA boosts me self-confidence, improves my listening and communication skills,
my decision-making and enhances my problem-solving skills, strategic thinking and self-
discipline.
 Also helps me to understand and explore how an enterprise runs internally and it will makes
me know more about risk assessments, finance, customer service, economics, marketing,
leadership, and accounting for my future career.

d. Are you planning to stay in the UK after studies? Give details.


 No, my motive for coming to the UK is to do my masters. Once I complete my master’s
degree in the UK, as my prime responsibility, I would come back to my country to look after
my parents who supported me in reaching my goal so far. On my return, in pursuit of making
my dream come true, I will surely succeed in my future business plans from all the
knowledge, skills and experience acquired from my study in UK.

e. Name the companies where you would like to work on completion of the course?
 After completing my master’s degree, I would come back to India and I would like to do my
own business with creative and flexible management strategies. So, I would not like to work
on any companies after completion of the course.

f. What all jobs you can get and what will be main roles and responsibilities?
 The key roles and responsibilities of my future business is to maximize revenue, profit, cash
flow, income  and  long-term net worth, by consistently producing greater results and
performance from the same time, the same effort, the same activities, the same people, and
the same money invested in your business.
 Secondly to continually reduce cost, and neutralize or eliminate weaknesses, risk and threats
and develop a strategic competitive advantage to combat increasing competition.

5) Why have you selected UK?


a. About UK
 The UK has been the centre of excellence especially, in MBA and, provides the best quality
education by making students gain more knowledge with adequate practical based learning
methods.
 The UK is well known for its interactive teaching methodology, top-ranking universities,
great student satisfaction in all aspects and world-class research.
 As compared to other countries education systems, the UK education system has highly
advanced practical laboratories. It ensures industry level hands-on experience. The UK has a
unique culture and multicultural environment that provides a good experience for an
individual.
 The cost of living and the course fee are lesser when compared to other countries, because
of the 1-year master's programme which is internationally recognised.
 The National Health Service provides its citizens and international students with the best
service with proper medication and planning.
 So the UK is always on the top list of international students to study abroad.

b. Which all countries you have decided to apply?


 I had a choice to apply for UK and Canada. Considering all the advantages and facilities it
offers, I ended up with the UK as my study destination for my masters.

c. Why UK and why not other countries?


 One of the main reasons for considering the UK is that they offer a one-year masters
program whereas the other countries have a two-year program. The tuition fees are lower
when compared to the other countries because of the one-year master’s program.
 One of the main factors on considering the UK over Canada is the weather in the UK is
pleasant. It is not cold as in Canada that goes down to -35 degrees Celsius in winter.
 The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) in the UK education system is a unique factor that
provides the best quality of education.

d. Is the course you are planning to study available in India, if yes why not India and Why UK
 The master’s degree program is only one year in the UK compared to two years in India.
 The teaching method in the UK is much more interactive and, they assign individual projects
that help improve one's independent knowledge and skills.
 Due to overpopulation and very few master’s programs in India, getting admission is
competitive.
 The UK is a multicultural country where we meet different people from different parts of the
world.

 The University of Hertfordshire is a gold-rated university that is the top-most rating to a
university in the UK for the excellence of teaching.
 The University of Hertfordshire has highly qualified academic staff with digital resources that
offer the best learning experience. The University of Hertfordshire is just 25 minutes away
from central London.
 Hertfordshire has achieved a high employment rate of 97%. About 78% of the graduates
from this university got placed in a professional role.
 The University of Hertfordshire is affordable that offer a wide range of facilities compared to
the other universities in the UK. Hertfordshire offers courses with placement opportunities
without any additional fees for its students.
 As of 2021, Hertfordshire has over 5000 international students around the globe.
 Hertfordshire University has two campuses, namely College Lane campus and de Havilland
campus. Hertfordshire offers a diverse learning experience and, it is one of the modern
universities in the UK.

b. Location of the University.


 The University of Hertfordshire is located in a town called Hatfield. It is the outskirts of
London city. It is just a 25-minute ride from central London by train, which is around 22 miles
far. It almost takes one hour through the road from Central London to the University of
Hertfordshire. The University of Hertfordshire has two campuses, College Lane campus and
de Havilland, located less than a kilometer apart. The university provides shuttle buses that
connect both campuses.

c. About Hatfield
 Hatfield is a town in southern England. Hatfield House was the home of Marquess of
Salisbury. Hatfield offers plenty of things to do and have a lot of places to chill with our
friends. There are a wide variety of supermarkets to shop. Hatfield has a lot of cafes, coffee
shops, pubs, and restaurants including Indian, Pakistani, Italian, Chinese, and British.
 Ellenbrook Fields, an open grassland located next to Havilland campus, is a nature reserve
that is utilised by the public for running, cycling, and walking.
 There are a variety of farmers markets for shopping and the Galleria outlet mall, which
contains a cinema theatre, restaurants and a variety of shops that offers a discount to
students.

 The University of Hertfordshire provides a lot of facilities like learning resource centres,
computers and software, a wide variety of sports, a help centre, and a Hutton Hub that
features a stunning new social space with relaxed seating, to meet up with their friends. The
University of Hertfordshire also offers a 24 hours well-equipped library. It also provides
supporting facilities like health care, academic support and student union.

 I have applied for MBA-Master of Business Administration at the University of Hertfordshire
and the University of Anglia Ruskin University.

 The first and the foremost thing which attracted me to choose the MBA at the University of
Hertfordshire with a comprehensive academic curriculum, has world class faculty, diverse
students and strong pedagogy, I believe I shall be able to make a mark in business industry
and be a successful professional and a happy person. I shall bring in my experience and
knowledge so far to the classroom and contribute in the best possible ways would help me
in honing the required skills and knowledge.
 Also, I believe this institution shall provide an environment with people from diverse culture
and background and shall help me in building my perspective not just professionally, but also
shape up my outlook and approach towards life.
 One of the main reasons why I chose the University of Hertfordshire, which is well known for

 The modules offered at the University of Hertfordshire exactly fit with my field of interest.

 No, I don’t have any relatives in the UK.

 My father is funding for my studies.

 No, I am not taking any loan for my studies as well as for living expenses.

 My father is self-employed, he runs an transport business and his annual income is
approximately 20 lakhs.

d. Are you planning to work part time?


 I am not planning to work part time and I can manage my living expenses on my own.

 My father is a self-employee, my mother is a homemaker, and I have an younger brother
studying bachelor’s degree.

 Yes, my father is funding my studies and he is funding me from his savings.

 The tuition fees for my course MBA is 14,995 GBP.
