I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
a. discuss the Piphat and Pinpeat ensemble,
b. identify the instruments involved in the Piphat and Pinpeat ensemble and
c. analyze the music of the Piphat and Pinpeat ensemble.
II. Subject Matter:
a. Topic: Phipat (Thailand) and Pinpeat (Cambodia) Ensemble
b. Reference: Explore the Wolrd of MAPEH 8
c. Materials: Powerpoint Presentation

III. Procedure
a. Motivation
 The teacher will show some tourist spots from Thailand and Cambodia.
b. Activity
 Students will get a sheet of paper and a crayon/colored marker and they will listen
to the musical excerpt played by teacher. Using the sheet of paper and the
crayon/marker, trace the direction of the music and they will compare drawings
with your seatmate.

c. Analysis
 The students are asked to write down the sounds they will hear on the musical
score to be played by the teacher.
