I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The catering industry has been growing steadily in recent years, as more people
turn to professional catering services for their events and occasions. Savor and Serve
Food Service Catering is a business located a Matalaba Santa Cruz, Marinduque that
offers catering services to a wide range of customers. It is locally owned by Clarence
Fidelino, Honelit Pastrana, Analiza Pizarra , Lemuel Rioflorido, and Mary Joy Rey. Our
initial investment is Php5,000,000. The competitive force in the catering industry is
intense with many competitors. The catering industry is highly affected by demand,
economic conditions, and availability of food and supplies. Savor and Serve Food
Service Catering has the necessary legal permits and licenses, follows food safety
regulations, and uses technology to improve its efficiency and productivity. Sociocultural
factors, such as changing dietary preferences, are also taken into consideration. The
SWOT analysis reveals the business's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and
threats. The marketing objectives are to increase customer satisfaction, recover capital
investment, increase sales revenue, have yearly sales of 1 to 2 million, and achieve a
20% market share in the food service industry.
Savor and Serve Food Service Catering offers high-quality catering services at
affordable prices. We offer four types of catering services, including corporate, wedding,
social event, and concession catering. Our catering services include minimum,
maximum, and full-service catering, with customizable menus to suit your needs. Our
catering service can also provide venue selection and design, and we have a range of
rental items, including chairs, tables, utensils, and vehicles. In addition, we have a dine-
in restaurant that serves a variety of breakfast and lunch menu items, desserts, and
drinks.
Our pricing is competitive, with transparent pricing for our dine-in restaurant
menu and customizable pricing for our catering services. Our catering services include
a five-step distribution process, which involves receiving the order, planning and
preparation, packaging, transport, and setup and service. We ensure that our food is
fresh, hot, and presented well, and we provide a clean-up and disposal service after the
event.
We promote our services through social media, personal calls, and our Facebook
business page and website. Customers can easily access information about our
catering services, including our location, menu options, pricing, and updates, through
our business page and website. Customers can also contact us via PM or DM on our
social media accounts to schedule their catering service without any hassle.

II. ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS


Santa Cruz is one of the municipalities in the province of Marinduque. It is
located at the South western coast of the island of Marinduque with a population 54,692
and have 55 barangays. Savor and serve food service catering is located at barangay
Matalaba Santa Cruz Marinduque.

There is often intense competition within the catering industry, with many vying

the food served is fresh, flavorful and visually appealing and lastly professionalism that
all of the catering staff will fully trained to provide an excellent and proper serving to the
guest or visitors and in case of unexpected challenges during events, they can handle
and fix it immediately.

2. Economic Force.
One of the most significant economic forces for food service catering is demand.
The demand for catering services depends on various factors, such as the overall
economic conditions, population growth, consumer tastes and preferences and the
number of events being held. The catering industry is highly competitive, and
businesses must adopt to changes in demand by constantly innovating and updating
their menus and services to remain relevant. Another economic force is the availability
and cost of food and other supplies needed for catering.
3. Political Force.
There are no expected political influences or events that could affect the
operations of Savor and Serve Food Service Catering.

4. Legal and Regulatory Service.


We have a business licences and permits before we operate. Food safety
regulations that is very important regulations includes the food handling, storage and
preparation as well as for food labeling and packaging. Insurance to protect against
claims related to food borne illness, accidents, or other incidents may occur during
activities in our business. These regulations are in place to protect the health and safety
of the public and ensure that the food is prepared and served safe and hygienic
manner.
5. Technology Force.
Savor and serve food service catering used some technology enabling
businesses to operate more efficiently and gain competitive advantages, some of these
are online ordering platforms that allows customers to place order or service quickly and
easily through mobile devices. Mobile apps like Facebook that aware customers about

B. MARKETING MIX

1. Products.
The Savor and Serve Food Service Catering offers a high quality of foods and
catering services that fits within your budget. We always considered the better and
excellent service to our customers and the deliciousness and healthy benefits of all
foods we offer . We have 4 types of catering services offered. First is Corporate
Catering that range from onsite small office gatherings to offsite upscale dinners.
Second we have Wedding Catering that is one of the most important events in a couple
lives. Third is Social Event Catering like birthday parties, retirement celebrations, grand
openings, and housewarming parties. Last is the Concession Catering which includes
major sporting events, seasonal competitions and live concerts. We offers minimum,
maximum and full service in any of these type of catering we accept. Some example of
these are: 30pax, 50pax, 100pax, 300pax, 500pax depends on how many the customer
wants. As a catering service we also accept in scouting and overall design of the venue.
We have a ready to rent items such as chairs, tables, spoons, glasses, curtains and
vehicles that is always ready to delivered anything you want. We also accepting dine in
restaurant that offer different variety of food menu items like for breakfast,Tapsilog,
Tocilog, Adosilog, Bisteksilog, Chicksilog, and Porksilog. For lunch like, Chicken Inasal
with rice, Liempo with rice, Lechon Kawali with rice, Sisig with rice and Beef steak with
rice. Spaghetti, Miki Bihon, Palabok that sometimes a bundle of lumpiang shanghai and
any kind of kakanin. We also have a desserts menu like, Halo-Halo, Leche Flan, Salad,
Cakes, and Ice creams. For drinks we have soft drinks, coffee, lemonade, orange juice,
pineapple juice, milk and dairy drinks, vegetable juice and even alcoholic beverages.

3. Distribution.
Our catering service may involve following steps in our distribution process.
 Receiving the order - we receives an order from the customer, which specifies
the date, time, location and menu for the event.
 Planning and preparation -based on the order, our catering service plans the
menu estimates the required quantity of ingredients and prepares the food in the
kitchen.
 Packaging - after the food is prepared, it is packed in the containers.
 Transport - the packed food is loaded in our suitable vehicles like van and
transported to the event.
 Set up and service - after we delivered the food in the event location, we sets up
the food service area such as tables, chairs, utensils and decoration. The food is
then served to the guests by catering staff, who ensure that the food is fresh, hot
and presented well.
 Clean up and disposal -after the event, our catering staff cleans up the food
service area, disposes of any left-over food and packs up the equipment and
supplies.

TIME ACTIVITIES
In the month leading up to our opening, we will create a
website and social media accounts for the catering business.
MONTH 1
We also offer a special promotion or discount for first time
customer to encourage them to book catering services.
We will develop a referral program to incentive existing
customers to refers new business. We will participate in local
MONTH 2-3
events or community activities to increase brand awareness.
We run a social media advertising campaign targeting
individuals and businesses in the local area. We also attend
MONTH 4-6
networking events and conferences to build relationships with
potential customers.
We will launch a loyalty program to reward repeat customers
and encourage repeat business. Develop partnerships with
MONTH 7-9
local event planners to increase referrals. We also host a
special event or open house to showcase the catering
services menu to potential customers.
We will launch a seasonal menu and promote it through
social media and email marketing. Develop partnership with

events.

VII. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION

The purpose of this performance evaluation is to assess the overall performance


of the catering service provided by Savor & Serve Food Service Catering for an event.
This evaluation aims to provide feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of the
catering service to help improve the quality of service in future events.
