RELATED STUDIES

ILMS is based on deep learning and big data analytics.

According to Xiao L., Ying Z., Jiangong W. (2022), their research on deep

learning-based text classification in digital libraries holds significant implications for

library management systems. Efficient organization and retrieval of library resources

hinge on the effective classification of textual information. By incorporating their deep

learning model into a digital library information integration system, the authors display

the possibility of enhancing the precision and recall of text classification. This progress

can aid library management systems by boosting the intelligence and effectiveness of

internal processes, resulting in better information services, optimized resource

management, and more successful user engagements within the library system.

Integrated library management systems

According to Adebayo A. (2020), the adoption of Integrated Library Management

Systems (ILMS) in Nigerian university libraries is growing, but challenges in

transitioning between systems have led to the loss of important records. The study

evaluated ILMS usage in Nigerian university libraries and found positive results in system

quality, content quality, and support services. Librarians showed self-regulated learning,

preparedness, and satisfaction with ILMS usage. The study recommends that library

management should maintain and enhance ILMS quality by benchmarking with systems

in developed countries' universities to ensure continuous improvement.

Cloud computing and its application in library management

According to Swain D. (2020), cloud computing is a transformative technology

that has had a significant impact on library and information services. Cloud computing

can help libraries to improve information access, storage, dissemination, reduce costs, and

improve efficiency. However, there are several factors that libraries need to consider

before adopting cloud computing, such as security, privacy, and data ownership. Cloud

computing can be a valuable tool for library management systems. It can help libraries to
