YOU'VE GOT MAIL!

I know you don't know who I am, but I found your name on the Internet
and was surprised to find someone living in France with my own sur-
name!!! It is amazing what technology can do! What is life like in France?
There are five people in my family. I am seventeen. I have an older
brother in college and a younger sister in high school. I am a senior this
year in high school. I live with my parents and sister in Stillwater, Min-
nesota.
During typical weekdays, my day consists of school from 7:50 to 3:05 and
gymnastics practice from 3:10 to 6:00.
A typical weekend day of mine consists of: waking up at about 7:25,
rushing to eat breakfast and driving to the high school at about 7:45 to
be at gymnastics practice at 8:00. It was snowing hard out this morning,
so I was a little late for practice. Later, after grabbing some lunch, I went
to the mall with a friend so that we could finish our Christmas shopping. I
ate dinner at the mall. Fast food restaurants such as Mac Donald's, burger
King or Taco Bell are often very common eating places in the US. My
friends and I hang out a lot, I am really close to them. We like watching
movies, singing, and listening to music (Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears,
Bon Jovi, …) We sometimes make gourmet meals, go bowling and basic-
ally just laugh and have a good time! I don't know, I guess we don't
really do anything out of the ordinary. I went home around 8:00, the rest
of the evening was spent cleaning up my room and helping my mum bake
cookies and other food since some friends some Canada are coming to
stay with us tomorrow.
This was a fairly typical weekend day of mine.
Well, I guess that's all for now. We would love it if you could spend some
holiday time with us! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! Keep in
touch!
Lisa,
