PATTERN 083
FABRIC CHOICES
This pattern is designed for knit fabrics. Choose a knit fabric with at least
15% stretch. Fabrics can be 100% cotton or Cotton blended with
synthetic fibers. Choosing fabrics that are 100% cotton may result is a
snugger fit after washing.
CUTTING
It is recommended to allow your fabric to relax after you have laid it on LAYOUT

SEWING PROCEDURES
FOR KNIT FABRICS: It is recommended that you use a size 12/80 ball point
sewing machine needle and polyester thread. You may also use Woolly or Bulky
nylon thread for greater stretch. Cotton cone thread is only recommended if you
are using a serger/overlock machine.
FOR WOVEN FABRICS (NON-STRETCH): It is recommended that you use a size 1/4” SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE
12/80 or 14/90 size needle for medium weight fabrics. Use a polyester or polyes-
ter core wrapped in cotton (Poly/Cotton) thread. INCLUDED, UNLESS OTHERWISE
