Synopsis
Speaker:
Yureana Wijayanti - Lecturer at Bina Nusantara University
Yureana graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of Universitas Gadjah Mada and
finished her master's degree in Sanitary Engineering at IHE Delft, the Netherlands the
following year in 2000. After that, she started to work as a water resource engineer. Her
work was as an engineering consultant for water-related and environmental projects such
as drainage systems, wastewater treatment, water treatment, water resources, coastal
environment, and solid waste management. Most projects were in West Nusa Tenggara
Province. While working as an engineer, she joined as a part-time lecturer at the
Environmental Engineering Department, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Yogyakarta. In
2013, she graduated doctorate degree from Yamanashi University, Japan, and started her
career as an academic and researcher. She is now a lecturer at Civil Engineering
Department Binus University Jakarta and a visiting research fellow at Murdoch University
Western Australia.
She is involved in interdisciplinary study projects where she had to administer research
collaboration with other universities, governmental institutions, and/or industries, and
supervise research projects from planning to completion. An interesting topic spectrum in
civil engineering areas was explored within these projects such as infrastructures,
sustainable water supply, and renewable energy (wave and solar). A most recent
collaboration project is on geopolymer concrete using coal fly ash. It is a research
collaboration with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Binus University,
and Murdoch University.
Speaker:
Nova Sundralawanti - Specialized in Designing Comprehensive Infrastructure Solutions
Nova Sundralawanti is a civil engineer with extensive experience in engineering and
project management, holding both a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from
Universitas Borobudur and Master's degree in civil engineering from Universitas Indonesia,
Nova has garnered over 15 years of professional expertise in the field. Her specialization
lies in designing comprehensive infrastructure solutions specifically tailored for coal
companies, covering all aspects from the mining pit to the port.
In addition to her engineering career, Nova has demonstrated entrepreneurial acumen by
establishing her own project management application company. Her company focuses on
delivering innovative solutions to streamline project workflows, showcasing Nova's
commitment to leveraging technology for efficient project execution.
She has actively contributed to the World Bank's East Indonesia Port Led Development
Program for the past three years as a Port Engineer, she has had the privilege of making
significant contributions to the program, further enhancing her expertise in port
development and management.
She has over 15 years of expertise in designing tailored infrastructure solutions for coal
companies, actively contributes to the World Bank's Port Led Development Program as
Port Engineer, enhancing her expertise in port development and management.

Synopsis
Speaker:
Trudy Hasna Taftiana B.Eng, MEngSc - Arup, Deputy Infrastructure Team Leader, Indonesia
Office
Trudy is a civil engineer with experience as a contractor and a consultant. She worked as
an operation and maintenance contractor of a smart motorway in Sydney, Australia. During
these early professional years as a contractor, she was appointed as the team leader for
asset handover to the Australian government client. Prior to this, she was the maintenance
planner and civil engineer, familiar with implementing asset management plan into IBM
Maximo and asset inspection procedures along with its corrective actions.
As a consultant, she has experience in project management and coordination, transaction
advisory, asset management, alignment design and business development. She has been
involved in various projects across infrastructure, cities and buildings sector, including 2
major National Strategic Projects. In her current role as the Deputy Infrastructure Team
Leader, she applies her leadership and interpersonal skills to support some of the
Infrastructure Team Leader tasks, such as organising recruitments, managing project
resourcing, responding to queries for cross office collaboration, etc. She is also the Asset
Management Local Services Leader, leading the delivery of asset management projects by
Arup Indonesia Office. One of her projects where she was the local project manager led
Arup to win the Technical Advisor of the Year 2023 by Partnership Awards.
Trudy graduated with Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (Cum Laude) from
Universitas Katolik Parahyangan. She then continued to obtain her Master of Engineering
Science in Construction Management (with Excellence) from University of New South
Wales, sponsored by Indonesia Endowment Funds for Education (LPDP). She is fond of
travelling and enjoys brisk walking in nature. She is currently based in Jakarta.
Speaker:
Jocelin Wijaya, B.Eng (Hons) GMICE - Project Manager/Senior Engineer at WSP, MPhil
Candidate in Engineering for Sustainability Development at University of Cambridge
Jocelin has over ten years of working experience mainly in Australia at both private and
public sectors. She graduated with a 1st Class Honours degree from University of New
South Wales. She has worked on various projects in Australia and Indonesia in both
technical role and project management, with latter being her main interest and focus. She
joined WSP Indonesia recently, bringing in her vast experience in delivering unique
projects during her time in Australia.
She has keen interest in entrepreneurship, sustainable development and passion for
mental health awareness, inclusion and diversity. She will share her academic and career
experience in Australia, and how she overcame some of the challenges she faced as a
minority female during her journey in establishing a professional career as an engineer in
Australia upon completion of her undergraduate study.
