General notes
The crane’s stability was determined in compliance with DIN 15019.2. The
crane’s stability corresponding also ISO 4305 and prEN 13000 - 1999.
The mechanical strength values are determined according to DIN 15018.3.
The crane is designed as an errection crane in accordance with DIN 15018.1
and 3 (Lifting capacity class H1) drive group IBm in accordance with
DIN 15020.1 resp. ISO 4301/2 classification group A1.
Caution: If the crane is used for mixed loading and unloading work, the loads must be
reduced to 70% of the permitted loads in the lifting capacity tables.
The following lifting capacity tables only are appplicable when planning crane
operations and operating the crane.
Values stated on other information sheets accompanying each model are not
binding.
66
• The crane operator must ensure that the values indicated in the lifting
capacity tables for load and radius are not exeeded under any
circumstances.
The safe load indicator (SLI) does not release him from this duty.
87
• It is not permitted ti use the SLI as a weighing device.
• Set the intended operating mode on the SLI (SLI code and reeving mode).
• Before starting work with the crane ensure that it is level horizontally and
check continually that it is still level during operation.
The position of the outriggers may only be corrected, when the crane is
unloaded.
• Lifting capacities are only valid for cranes with are level horzontally.
66
87
50
30
• When there is a 8.7 / 15.0 m swing-away lattice extension folded onto the
basic section, the main boom load-bearing capacity is reduced as follows:
on outriggers free-standing
66
bolted onto and a load attached to the main boom.
before lifting the load. Only then may the load be lifted.

In the working range, telescoping with the main boom - intermediate length - curves is monitored by the SLI.
For all ranges which are not safeguarded by characteristic curves, the main boom can be extended without loads
up to the specified working radii shown in the following unloaded hook table. Telescoping is monitored by the
load torque limiter.

Placement of boom
30
In order to be able to lower the main boom out of the working range at a boom angle of under approximately 15°,
every telescope part has either to be completely retracted or the appropriate set-up code/load torque limiter-code
must be set according to the allocated set-up table.
Depending on how the truck crane is rigged (counterweight, boom span and slewing range), you can lower the
main boom up to 3x the telescoping status (length of the main boom = 31.03 m) via the following set-up tables
by using the appropriate set-up/ load torque limiter-codes.
Providing a set-up table is available for the 0x extended boom, the load torque limiter automatically switches
over, which means that the set-up/ load torque limiter-codes do not have to be entered. For all other lengths, the
set-up/ load torque limiter-codes must previously be entered.
You can also take the telescope status as specified in the set-up tables as a reference for maintenance work
within the main boom range.

The main boom can be telescoped out up to the radius stated in the following tables when using a swing-away
jib. The permissible loads ( weight of the hook block ) are also stated in the following tables. The angle of the
swing-away lattice extension can be altered at the same time if the main boom is at a length that is not permitted
for operation with a swing-away jib.
The telescoping of the main boom and the adjustment of the swing-away lattice extension angle is monitored by
the load torque limiter.
Placement of the main boom with mounted swing-away lattice extension is only possible with the main boom
fully retracted ( Column *1 with telescoping 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 ), and with the swing-away lattice extension at an angle of
5 - 20°.
Do not rotate the superstructure during the telescoping of the main boom. The fast speed for the hoisting gear,
derricking gear and telescoping may not be used during telescoping of the main boom.

• The above lifting capacity values are not monitored by the SLI. However the are within the capacity values for
intermediate angle, which are monitored by the SLI.
• The loads for luffing depend on angle of main boom, angle of swingaway and dynamic working pressure of the
luffing cylinder for swingaway. If the dynamic working pressure is exceeded, the SLI will cut-off the luffing-out
function.

If the dynamic working pressure is exceeded, the SLI will cut-off the luffing-out
function.

If the dynamic working pressure is exceeded, the SLI will cut-off the luffing-out
function.

If the dynamic working pressure is exceeded, the SLI will cut-off the luffing-out
function.
