Assalamualaikum everyone!

I hope you will be healthy and doing well. I am hereby sharing


the preparation study schedule for JCAT exam on the basis of
my own and the experiences of many other candidates who
have been through this exam and have succeeded.
Belove are given all the needed instructions about the program
that we will practice during our journey upto the next attempt
of JCAT exam.
Criteria for appearing in JCAT Exam is;
A candidate must have the following doc in hand:

1) Valid Passport for foreigns Or CNIC for Pakistani nationals.

2) 10th and12th grade Certificates.

3)Diploma or graduation certificate (MBBS/MD)

4) House job certificate.


5) PMDC number for Pakistani nationals
Or AMC card for Afghan graduates.(note that this requirement had
not been mandatory upto the previous attempt)
Study Materials for JCAT;
1. First Aid step 1: with very few exemptions.
2. Master the board: with few exemptions.
3. Pathoma: General Pathology is mandatory.
4. Dogar General surgery: Imp Chapters only.
5. Dogar Systemic Surgery: Imp Chapters only.
6. B&B videos; used only to strengthen weak areas of
First aid.

Study Plan;
We will give you a weekly basis study p. You should be studying
your self 6 days a week and at the weekend a test will be
conducted. The questions in the test will be of the same
pattern as in real exam.
You ought to solve the questions honestly and give us a
feedback.

Study hrs: 7 hrs study a day is must.


•4hrs in morning.
•3hrs in evening.
First Go:
Our first go through the course will take three and half months
(15 wks) almost.
In our first read we will study the whole curriculum wisely and
learn each and every single concept. During the journey you will
be obliged to use every possible effort to clarify your concepts
about every topic and by the way you can also add notes to
your study materials where needed.
Approach; We will start each system with FA and after doing
this, the same system will be studied from Master the board.
This way our clinical and paraclinical study will go alongside
which is the best way to make your concept crystal clear.
Biochemistry and Micro will be studied after completing the
systems. At the end we will do only the highly needed Systems
from Dogar surgery.

JCAT SELF ASSESSMENT:


A grand self assessment test will be conducted at the end of
first read of the whole curriculum. This test will contain 125
mcqs similar to JCAT and only those candidates who have
regularly followed the course will be given their assessment
scores as well.
Revision:
Revision time will depend on the date of exam that is yet to be
announced. But probably we will have at least one and a half
month for revision.
