The Type 5615 cartridge seals may be customized for specific
installations after review and evaluation by John Crane. The following
data is needed to evaluate the proposed service:
• Make and model of equipment • Process fluid
• Shaft or sleeve OD – Specific gravity
• Direction of shaft rotation – Box pressure
viewed from drive end – Vapor pressure
• Seal cavity dimensions – Temperature
• Speed – Viscosity
• Quench fluid (if applicable)
