Call to Confession *Our Response

The proof of God’s amazing love is this: Jesus, lover of my soul,

While we were sinners, Christ died for us. Let me to Thy bosom fly,
Because we have faith in him, we dare to approach God with confidence, While the nearer waters roll,
While the tempest still is high:
trusting that God will forgive our sin and cleanse us from every kind of wrong.
Hide me, O my Savior, hide,
Let us confess our sins to almighty God.
Till the storm of life is past;
—based on Romans 5:8; Hebrews 4:16; 1 John 1:8 Safe into the haven guide;
O receive my soul at last!
