PURPOSE
This bulletin highlights new model features, service,
and option package information for the 2020 Mirage
G4 (U.S. models, other markets may be different).
Review the details that follow to familiarize yourself
with this information. Refer to the 2020 Mirage G4
Service Manual on MEDIC, MDL, or CD (p/n
MSCD-019B-2020), and the Owner's Manual for details
on these and other features. For information about the
Display Audio or Smartphone Link Display Audio (SDA),
system, refer to the audio system owner's manual in
the glovebox.

New for all 2020 Mitsubishi vehicles the
“MITSUBISHI” badge has been eliminated from the
rear of all models. Instead, the model name
appears on the left, and the trim name (ES, SE) is
shown on the right side.

New Grille Design

New for all 2020 Mirage G4 is a newly designed
honeycomb grille.

New Limited Edition (LE) Exterior Features

The new Limited Edition (LE) model for 2020 Mirage G4 replaces the 2019 Smartphone Display
Package for 2019 ES models, with the following exterior features:

The new Limited Edition (LE) model for 2020 Mirage G4 also comes loaded with the following interior

CONVENIENCE
Automatic Climate Control
All 2020 Mirage G4 models are now equipped with
Automatic Climate Control.

Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA)

2020 Limited Edition (LE) models come standard
with the Smartphone-Link Display Audio with
AM/FM radio, CD/MP3 audio, and compatible with
Apple CarPlay® / Android Auto™. (SE models already
have this as standard equipment.)

HVAC SYSTEM
New Refrigerant (R1234yf)
To comply with upcoming refrigerant regulations, R1234yf has been adopted for all 2020 Mirage G4,
similar to other 2020 Mitsubishi models.

A/C Blower Fan Change Blower Fan Changed to Brushless Motor Type
Like other Mitsubishi 2020 models, the blower fan
has been changed from a brush motor to a
brushless motor for more efficient operation on all
2020 Mirage G4.
This change is in compliance with the CAFÉ
regulation in North America and features:
D Reduced blower motor weight.
D Reduced power consumption at peak load.
NOTE: There are no changes to maintenance
procedures with the new blower motor.

HVAC SYSTEM (continued)

A/C Compressor
The A/C compressor and the A/C driving belt have also been changed for more efficient operation
on all 2020 Mirage G4.
PLEASE NOTE:
D The disassembly method has changed due to the new shape. Refer to Service Manual for
proper disassembly procedures.
D When replacing the driving belt, do NOT use the belt for 2019 models. The new belt is longer.
D Additional special tools are not necessary.
