As a RAN Engineer for Yupana, Mr.Pedrote Adan will be responsible for all the duties normally
required for this position, such as engineering, testing, and supporting network; GSM, UMTS, LTE,
BTS/NodeB, 5G commission, integration and testing, using line sweep gear and analyzing the
results, troubleshooting of HW related alarms, conducting site quality audit and technical site
surveys as well as preparing site documentations and reports. RAN Engineer is responsible for
complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities including, but not limited to, network
design, engineering, implementation, or operations/user support. RAN Engineer supports the health
and or troubleshooting of 5G, LTE and WCDMA sites to ensure performance metrics are met for
site/cluster/market launch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

● Integration of RBS 3000, 6000 series
● Restoration & Troubleshooting alarms for LTE, AWS, PCS & GSM, Node-B/ENodeB TX/HW
using RBS Element Manager and MOSHELL
● Node –B Sync Troubleshooting, Loop Check for TX/IP from Node B to RNC
● Perform RET configuration, script verification for Argus, Kathrein, Andrew and Hexport
Antenna
● Perform RET configuration via CCU (Interim build solution)
● Conduct VSWR, PIM test, Return Loss and Short test for elliptical waveguide, coaxial cable
● Perform TMA Kaelus configuration
● Troubleshooting RSSI issues
● Perform site integration via Moshell work
● Hands on working knowledge how to do eNodeB/NodeB Rehoming/Reparenting on field
● Perform DUL, DUW Board Replacement and health check
● Perform RRUS (RRUS 11,RRUS A2) Replacement and addition
● Perform onsite troubleshooting for configuration for hardware issues occurred on 5G, LTE and
WCDMA Nodes (RBS)
● Perform testing on RAN (WRAN & LRAN) solution in accordance with RAN testing
requirements
● Verification of Traces, System Constant and LTE Black Module
● Radio network parameter change impact analysis (cell status, alarm & crash impact)
● Declare neighbor IRAT, UTRAN, EUTRAN
● Analyze traces and exception for worst cell troubleshooting (cell tracing analysis)
● Perform KPI monitoring (daily monitoring radio performance and RAN parameter)
● Provide consultation and support to customers on technical matters related to WCDMA, LTE and
5G RAN Products
We now wish to temporarily employ Mr. Pedrote Adan a RAN Engineer (RBS Engineer) for a
duration of 3 years, commencing on such date as he receives his TN visa, at a salary of $19.00 per
hour (40 hours per week) and a discretionary bonus up to 28% of the base salary. The total
compensation package will be up to an annual equivalent salary of $50,585.6 USD. Mr. Pedrote
Adan is also eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits. This position is listed in NAFTA
Chapter 16, Annex 1603, Appendix 1603.d.1. and Mr. Pedrote Adan is highly qualified for the job
as he possesses his Engineering degree and he has experience in this field.
