--Thanks for Downloading the Texture Pack!

--
Hope you enjoy a lot playing this amazing texture pack addon.

------------------------Description------------------------

Eclipse is a texture pack developed by RetroAdvance64 for Geometry Dash as an addon

that expands the Icon set up to 1000+ Icons and serves as the "Ultimate" edition of
the texture pack. That being said, it offers a lot of new icons and has been in
development since early 2021, it was once a private texture pack with the purpose
of playtesting future icons before releasing them but was eventually launched to
the public thanks to a person by the name of Sai, which he released the mod "Sai
Modpack", said modpack contained an improved version of "Add more Icons" with more
efficient results and automatic icon detection.

Before playing Eclipse, it requires the mod "Sai Modpack" in order to make it work!
Otherwise it will not work by normal means without the mod.

------------------------Dev Notes------------------------

Eclipse texture pack is an extremely and overwhelming texture pack, in the sense
that the pack does actually offer more of 1000+ icons to the game, and with such
potential comes with a trade off, you'll get slow loading times, increases memory
usage and moreover a memory leak, causing the game textures to go unloaded (or what
they call, the black textures). This isn't an easy fix, you need to install a
program called "4GB Patch" which is a tool that increases the memory cap for
programs and games, specially for Geometry Dash as with the tool you're able to
load the textures correctly. In order to make it work, simply download the tool and
find the executable file of Geometry Dash (geometrydash.exe) and apply it, but make
sure the game is closed before doing so.

Outside of the bugs and technical errors, the Texture pack does offer a lot of
content to show off, such as Icons that makes references to other media like
movies, videogames and such. You can create a lot of combinations to create an
unique set, there's a lot of icons that can make you hard to choose what's your
favorite (A relatable thing, considering a lot of people commented like that when
the texture pack was public)

This is mentioned in Supernova, but the main purpose Eclipse has is to search for
feedback, as these icons will later appear in the 2.2 version of the Texture pack
and i would like your opinion what you think about this addon, any suggestions are
appreciated :)

Oh yeah, a notable difference is that Eclipse offers a different loading screen,

now showcasing the logo with the Eclipse emblem instead of Supernova, which tells
the difference easily

------------------------Installation------------------------

A common and known method to install a texture pack is very simple, searching the
game files of Geometry Dash and they are located in this directory (If you have
Steam and saved in your main drive).

Steam / steamapps / common / GeometryDash / Resources.

Another method to search your files is navigating in Steam, here's how you do it.

>>First, search the game in the library, specifically in your games list.
>>Two, right click on the game and go to manage > browse local files.

>>Three, once you click on "Browse local files" it redirects to the game files,
very easy.

Now that you found the game directory, drag the textures of the zip to the
"Resource" folder and replace them. (As i mentioned earlier in Dev notes, before
installing make sure to create a backup of your gamefiles if you want to revert
back to the vanilla version or saving your previously made custom textures).

-------------------------------------------------------------

Another method that works but also involving with a Mod named as "TextureLDR",
which is a mod that comes with a Texture pack loader, in short, a mod that function
similarly like the Minecraft texture pack system. Here's the steps.

>> First, Find or create a folder named "packs" and must be located in the
GeometryDash folder, not in the Resource folder

>> Two, once you are inside of the packs folder, create a new folder with a
name of your liking, for example, "Eclipse TP".

>>Three, now that you created the folder now drag the textures and files inside
of that folder you've created.

>>Four, launch Geometry Dash and go to the "Folder" button and reload the list.

>>Five, once you reload the pack list, the Texture pack is ready to use now.

-----------------------Contributions-----------------------

Special thanks to everyone who supported and contributed the project with your
amazing ideas, they provide it useful for the texture pack and up to the
standards!, below we can mention!
