AGAP (Akademikong Gabay para sa Aktibong Pagbasa) to empower learners in reading and
comprehension.
Project AGAP will run from August 2023 to July 2024, from planning, implementation
up to monitoring and evaluation. It has an estimate budget of 5,000 to 10, 000 comprises of
personal and direct cost which helps in the attainment of the project goal.
This project aims to provide intensive supplementary materials from basic phonics
reading up until comprehension level aided with consistent assistance and coaching. This
project emphasizes consistency because it is one of the primary key to improve reading skills.
A thirty (30) minute time schedule will be allotted daily to the respondents to mobilize to
consistency campaign of this project. Saturday sessions will also be scheduled depending to
the availability of the teachers
Project AGAP promotes literacy in reading and comprehension from Grade 7-10
under the categories frustration, instructional and dependent readers of Bacnor National High
School.
A. General Objective
Project AGAP is a school-based project which shall aim to provide and develop
students readiness and fluency in reading and comprehension.
B. Specific Objective
To empower low levels of literacy and engage at-risk students in reading and
academic learning.

The teachers will give the different interventions to follow-up learners. Printed learning
materials will be crafted for consistency. It will be distributed to the learners according to
their reading needs. The result of assessment will serve as basis for future improvement.
