    Direction: List down the different body systems, functions and parts in each system.
    Body system Function/s Body parts in the system
    Integumentary system Protects the body’s internal tissues and Skin, Hair, Nails, and a variety of
    organs. glands.

    Skeletal system Supports the body and Facilitates Bones, joints, cartilage, ligaments,
    movement. and tendons.

    Muscular system Movement of the body and maintain Skeletal muscles, Smooth muscles,
    body temperature. and cardiac muscles.

    Nervous system To collect input from the body and Brain, spinal cord, autonomic and
    external environment. somatic nerves and all sensory
    organs

    Endocrine system Metabolism and tissue maturation Hypothalamus, pituitary glands,


    thyroid glands, adrenals, and the
    reproductive organs.

    Circulatory system Transport of O2 and Co2 Heart, blood vessels, and blood

    Lymphatic system Filters bacteria, foreign materials, toxins, Lymph vessels, lymph nodes,
    and any harmful material. spleen, and thymus

    Respiratory system Inhalation and exhalation are pulmonary Nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea,
    ventilation, in simple words, breathing. bronchi, and lungs.

    Digestive system Intake and digestion of food Salivary glands, intestine, stomach,
    pancreas, and liver.

    Excretory system Remove wastes from the body Kidneys, urethra, urinary bladder,
    and ureters.
