    Syllabus update: Cambridge IGCSE™ Design & Technology (0445)

    for examination in 2024, 2025 and 2026

    We have updated this syllabus. The latest syllabus is version 2, published April 2022.

    What has changed? Detail

    Changes to assessment Project mark scheme Criterion 5 has been updated. The marks awarded for
    (including changes to Level 1 are now 1–3. Please see page 36 for details.
    specimen papers)

    Other changes The Individual Candidate Record Card (ICRC) has been updated to give more
    guidance to teachers on the type of comments to write. It gives examples of
    teacher comments to support the marks awarded. The ICRC should be
    downloaded from www.cambridgeinternational.org/samples

    We have not updated the specimen materials for this syllabus.
