This certificate is issued as verification that a sample(s), representative of production, was assessed and tested and found to comply with the
IEC Standard list below and that the manufacturer's quality system, relating to the Ex products covered by this certificate, was assessed and
found to comply with the IECEx Quality system requirements. This certificate is granted subject to the conditions as set out in IECEx Scheme
Rules, IECEx 02 and Operational Documents as amended
STANDARDS :
The equipment and any acceptable variations to it specified in the schedule of this certificate and the identified documents, was found
to comply with the following standards
IEC 60079-1:2007-04 Explosive atmospheres - Part 1: Equipment protection by flameproof enclosures "d"
Edition:6
IEC 60079-31:2008 Explosive atmospheres – Part 31: Equipment dust ignition protection by enclosure 't'
Edition:1
IEC 60079-7:2006-07 Explosive atmospheres - Part 7: Equipment protection by increased safety "e"
Edition:4
This Certificate does not indicate compliance with safety and performance requirements
other than those expressly included in the Standards listed above.

EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this Certificate are as follows:
Three-phase ribbed cooled asynchronous motor and generator size 560 with frames and endshieds in welded steel.
A primary junction box protected by flameproof enclosure or by increased safety, in cast iron or steel is mounted on the housing. As a
variation, one or more auxiliary boxes protected by flameproof enclosure or by increased safety, can be mounted on the motor. These boxes
don’t communicate with the motor.
As a variation, the connection can be made of a unterminated cable.
Adapters between the motor and the terminal boxes protected by flameproof enclosure "d" or increased safety "e" could be used
Cooling types can be IC 411, IC 416 or IC 418 (motor in an air flow), according to IEC 60034-6.
The gap and diametrical clearances are less than the values specified in the tables of the standard IEC 60079-1.
Annex:
EQUIPMENT (continued)
Temperature sensors may be incorporated in the stator windings and/or in the bearings. The motor
may be supplied through a frequency inverter. In this case, it is fitted with temperature sensors.
These sensors should be connected to a device that shuts off power to the motor so that the
maximum indicated surface temperature is never reached.
Heating resistances may be located inside the frame or inside the terminal box.
A drain and breathing device can be mounted on the motor enclosure and/or on the terminal boxes.
The degree of protection of enclosures and junction boxes is IP55 or IP56 or IP65 or IP66
according to IEC 60 034 - Part 5 and IEC 60 529.
The motor and/or terminal boxes can be fitted with different components. All components are
stipulated on the descriptive documents.

PARAMETERS RELATING TO THE SAFETY
Maximum frequencies:
Without frequency inverter : 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
With frequency inverter : from 1Hz to 173 Hz.
Maximum powers:
Standard version, service S1 :
Low voltage : 800kW to 1600kW
Medium voltage: 800kW to 1600kW
High voltage : 500kW to 1120kW
In accordance with clause 16.1 of IEC 60079-1 standard, each sample of the equipment defined
above must have successfully passed before delivery, an overpressure test, of a period comprised
between 10 and 60 seconds, carried out on each flameproof compartment under a pressure of:
In accordance with clause 16.2 of the EN 60079-1 standard, the following junction boxes are
exempted of routine test in owing to the fact that it has undergone a static type test at 4 times the
reference pressure under:
- 35.6 bar for box WTBX XS
- 42 bar for box WTBX S
- 37.2 bar for box WTBX M used in an ambient temperature down to -20°C
In accordance with clause 7.2 of the IEC 60079-7 standard, each sample of the terminal boxes
