Inspection Comments
Upon arrival I met with property owner, Patty Bryant, to investigate the above listed complaint. Owner allowed me on property to
investigate the complaint. We discussed the advertising associated with the complaint – “Master with Walk, Master the Relationship”
is the online advertising name. Ms. Bryant stated that at this time, she only provides training in which the owner is present. She
stated she provides owner and pet training, with the owner in control of their dog and that the dogs to not do independent training
with her. She stated that the animals are not boarded or groomed. She stated she has hosted leash training. Advertising appeared
to reflect unlicensable activity at this time.
We discussed licensable activity for a Kennel License and a Pet Dealer License during inspection. Owner stated that she would like
more information regarding the license and would possibly be interested in a license in the future. I left my card and the office
number.
Owner stated that occasionally friends’ pets or relatives’ pets stay on her property for no fee or compensation. I explained that she
would not need a license for that type of activity.
The animals seen during inspection appeared to have access to water and shelter. There were dogs, owned by Ms. Bryant,
livestock, and poultry on property. There were approximately 50 animals onsite during inspection.
I will discuss this complaint with Supervisor Michael Lurey prior to closing the complaint.
