Experience.
Flight Operations Control Centre Director, New Regional Airline, USA -2021
I am in charge to help to build this new vibrant regional airlines, working with the ATR 42-600 with local
destinations in the Northeast region of USA. Making calculations to see how many pilots due need to
hire for our operations, creating all the FOC and handle the hours of the aircraft and the crew to have the
right hours according to the aviation authorities, committees and human resources, having the right
plans for any kind of eventual situations as delays, cancelations and others.
I was in charge of opening the new station in Mexico City. My duties included generating contracts with
all departments that involved in this new flight; such as airport services, operations, security, diesel, and
other companies dealing with outsourcing, sales and cargo. I also verified that all payments were correct
and sent at the righttimes. I also attended meetings with all local authorities affiliated with airport
operations.
As a fleet and crew director I had the great opportunity to create this department to this new cargo
airlines, since made all the agreements with the hotels, transportations, looked for the best prices about
all their tools like uniforms, baggage, wings, jeppesen and others. Follow the hours of the fleet to get the
right maintenance, follow the hours of each pilot to do not exceed the right time and to have all time safe
flights.
As Cabin Services Director my responsibilities included: upholding the policies and procedures set forth
by the airline to assure the best quality service to our customers. I was also responsible for assuring that
HON Circle Lufthansa air miles members receive concierge style service during all of their award travels.
Customer Services Director of Mergers. During the merger of British Midlands Airlines in 2008 I was
fortunate enough to be the liaison between British Airways and British Midlands Airlines which was
acquired by British Airways in 2008. My responsibilities as the Director of Mergers was to assure that
during the transition
I would follow all hours of the fleet and crew to make all the agreements with different companies
involved with the department and sometimes I would cover a flight as a cabin crew member when
another had a flight exhibition or other duties to perform.
As a crew member of In-Flight Customer Service and a Flight Attendant I was in charge of verifying meals
at the aircraft before the passengers boarded, charged with checking the aircraft had all emergency tools,
verifying that the aircraft was in good condition for the passengers, and helping passengers with any
services they needed or required before flying or for after the flight.
As flight dispatcher I was in charge to make the aircraft loading, on the ramp, verify diesel companies
loading the right quantity, check the weather conditions with the captains, check the flight plan, check
with the chief purser everything its okay and verify they have the perfect weight to have a safe flight
