Noah's Ark

Long ago, people had forgotten about God and done many bad things. God told Noah he would send a flood to punish the people, and told Noah to build an ark to save his family and two of every kind of animal. Noah built the ark as instructed and took his family and the animals onboard as the rain fell for 40 days and nights, flooding the entire earth. After the waters receded, Noah released a dove to search for land, and it eventually returned with an olive leaf, signaling the flood was over. Noah and the animals left the ark, and God placed a rainbow in the sky as a promise to never flood the earth again.

Long ago, people were doing bad things. They had forgotten about God.

There was one person who still loved


God. His name was Noah. God told
Noah there would be a flood and He
told him to build an ark.
Noah started to build the ark
together with his family. He tried
to warn his neighbours.

But they didn't listen to him. They


laughed at him because they
thought it was a joke.
After the ark was built, Noah
put his family and two animals
of each kind inside the ark.
After his family and all the
animals were on the ark, God
sealed the ark door. Then it
started to rain.
The rain fell for 40 days
and 40 nights.
Water covered the whole
earth. Noah and his family
were safe on the ark.
After the rain
stopped, Noah sent
a dove to find land.
It flew around, but
never found any so
it came back.

One week later, Noah sent


the dove again. This time,
it came back with a leaf.
The flood was now over!
The ark came to rest
on the top of a mountain.
Noah’s family and
all the animals came out
of the ark. Noah and his
family praised God.

God put a rainbow in the


sky and promised to
never flood the whole
earth again.
