characteristics of self-actualized individuals from a textbooks.

A self-actualized individual is one who possesses a deep sense of self-


awareness, embraces their authenticity, and strives to fulfill their unique
potential while also demonstrating autonomy,
creativity,compassion,empathy,strong moral values and a constant drive
for personal growth and the well being of others. They have a clear
understanding of their values and pursue meaningful goals that
contribute positively to the community and the world at large.

 Self-awareness: A self-actualized individual possesses a deep


understanding of their own, emotions, and motivations, enabling
them to make conscious choices aligned with their true selves.

 Autonomy: They exhibit a strong sense of independence and


personal agency, taking responsibility for their actions and
decisions, and refusing to be solely defined by societal
expectations or external influences.

 Authenticity: Self-actualized individuals are true to themselves,


embracing their unique qualities, values, and beliefs, and living in
alignment with their own principles rather than conforming to
others' expectations.

 Emotional resilience: They have the ability to bounce back from


setbacks and adversity, maintaining a positive outlook and
managing their emotions effectively, allowing them to navigate
challenges with composure and learn from experiences.

 Continuous growth: Self-actualized individuals are committed to


lifelong learning and personal development, constantly seeking
