    Sub: Felicitation of teachers and staff of St. Joseph’s School on
    the occasion of Teachers Day - 2023- reg.

    1. On the 5th of September every year, Teachers Day is celebrated on


    the occasion of birth anniversary of the First Vice President of India
    and eminent educationist Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. This is an
    occasion for us to express gratitude towards the teachers and
    educational support staff for their efforts towards enlightening and
    guiding the young citizens of our Nation.
    2. Towards the above noble venture, it is proposed to felicitate the
    teachers and other staff members of St. Joseph’s School, Meja
    during the upcoming Teacher’s Day on 5 th September, 2023. To
    organize the programme in a befitting manner, the following
    assistance is hereby proposed:
    a. Procurement of books/memento (Rs. 300/-) +angavastram (Rs.
    200/-) + planters (Rs. 300/-) for felicitating approx.. 25 nos. of
    staff-members. Total cost for the same shall be Rs. 20,000/-.
    b. Arrangement of lunch and refreshments for the staff through
    M/s ICWCS: Rs.8,000/-
    c. Miscellaneous expenditure towards banners and other
    incidental items: Rs. 2,000/-
    Thus, the total financial implication for felicitation of teachers and
    other staff members of St. Joseph’s School, Meja on the occasion of
    Teacher’s Day-2023 shall be Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty
    Thousand only).

    3. The above expenditure may be booked under Welfare Expenses


    under which approx. Rs.7.5 lacs has been spent till date out of total
    sanctioned limit of Rs. 25.0 lacs.
    4. Submitted for kind consideration and approval of Competent
    Authority under DoP Sec. IV Cl. 11 (a) (3) please.
