28143500104-MPPS LNPURAM SCP 25

STRATEGIES & INTERVENTIONS

There is no quantitative expansion for a new school. The existing

schools may be strengthened for imparting quality education that too in a SC
focused area.

There is lot of potential for English medium in this area. As the

common man is also thinking to join their children into an English Medium
School, this is the right time to initiate English Medium in the Government
Primary School also. Not only in the Model Primary Schools, but also in the
existing Primary Schools, it is desirable and dire need to launch the English
Medium for the sustainability of the existing schools under the government
managements.

Strategies to bring back the other 30 children who are studying in

other private schools is the aim of the teachers. There is no dropout in the
area. 100% enrolment is achieved.

For imparting quality education, Teaching Learning Materials play a

vital role in the learning process. Hence it is needed to have at least Rs.10,
000/- to procure the Teaching Learning Materials (TLM) for the school.

CONVERENCE WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS

The School invites agricultural officers, Post Masters, Police Personnel,

Health Department officials to visit and to address the children.

The agricultural department

people suggested the students to
grow kitchen garden in their houses
which has major impact on children.
All the children were distributed
seedlings for this activity.
28143500104-MPPS LNPURAM SCP 26

HEALTH CONSIOUSNESS
“HEALTH IS WEALTH”

The school is trying its best to inculcate the health consciousness

among the students which in turn supposed to carry out to their homes and
carry the message to their homes also. In this aspect, the Homoeo Pills for
deadly diseases were put to the children.

As a routine and in periodical manner, the constant health check-ups

by the attached PHC will be done. The ANM‟s and other health workers visit
the school and distribute the de-worming doses, vaccines etc. The typical
cases will be carried to the PHC for the medical examinations and further
action in relation with the medical care.

COMMUNITY MOBILISATION

Increasing the learning resources through community mobilization and

by organizing the lectures/seminars by subject and professional experts will
bring lot of change in developing the awareness of the present day situation
and in promotion of holistic development of children in all walks of life.
Subject Clubs, Laboratories will increase the learning resource and enrich
the academic concepts.
28143500104-MPPS LNPURAM SCP 27

EDUCATION FOR SC/ST/MINORITY COMMUNITY & GIRLS

As the SC, ST and Minorities are good at enrolment and success rate.
Member for SC, ST in the SMDC will hold the responsibility for the above
strategies. As this result they are stepping ahead with good scores.
QUALITY

The grant for the TLM was utilized for the purpose for which it is meant
and the amount is not adequate in the case of non language subjects. The
slow learners will be taken care of by imparting remedial coaching and micro
teaching. The school also conducts “BADI BATA” program at the starting of
the academic year to reduce drop-out rate.

The Retention Rate (Sustaining in School) in the school is 100%.

As the local people are interested in education, with the help of them
the school announces prizes, awards and incentives, even financial
assistance for the poor students. In this way the Padala Charitable Trust
is worthy for appreciations. They are positive, encouraging and visionary.
Not even they are encouraging the students but also felicitating the
teachers. The school had that merit too. The trust admired the standards of
the students of the downtrodden area and continued their support and
encouragement.

The school also awards the children with good attendance to improve
the average attendance. The absenteeism of the student will be informed
through messaging, teacher visits to their houses, keeping in notice of SMC.
Apart from the school strategies, retention drives will be conducted as per
the instructions of the authorities from time to time.
28143500104-MPPS LNPURAM SCP 28

EDUCATION FOR THE GIRL CHILDREN

Other than the above components, that should take into account girls
within that community, while planning, the intervention below are targeted
towards all girls in the age group of 5+ and 10+ so that girls in this age
group are able to complete their education till the secondary level.

The Community awareness programs on education girl child are taken

up for the above said strategy. Ensuring Safety and Security of girl child
while commuting the school is most important, both villagers and teachers
have very strict disciplinary attitude towards the eve teasers and anti social
elements.
28143500104-MPPS LNPURAM SCP 30

INNOVATION

Once every two months, a health check up camp is to be organized in

the school by the PHC. Eye Camps for the children are conducted by
service organizations.

Excursion and Field Visits, Inter Regional Visits are to be organized

for adopting Integration.

The agricultural kits may be supplied to the school.

PROGRAMMES RELATED TO PROTECTION OF ENVIRONMENT:

degradable for the usage in making Vermin Compost for the plants in the
school. The action plan in this aspect is under process.
28143500104-MPPS LNPURAM SCP 31

COMMUNITY MOBILISATION

The parents of the students who are attending in other schools will be
met and convinced to join their children in our school duly explaining the
conditions and abilities of the school and teachers, results achieved,
positions held by our students in different examinations and strengths of the
school.

The teachers in the government schools are more qualified and

experienced than those are working in the private schools. The school has
secured high position in the district as well as in imparting the quality
education.

Special classes for the slow learners will be arranged. There is no

necessity for the private tuitions etc. These points are to be inculcated in the
minds of the parents.

In this aspect the PTA is also to be trained in the areas of how deal
the children and take care about their future. The training is to be given
by the local leaders, youth etc.

The attitude of some sector of people, who feel that sending their
children to Government school is inferior to their prestige, is to be changed.
