Rule set of each Activity
EVENT: Reel Making Competition

1. Video Content: All video reels submitted for the event should be
original and focused on the themes of Environment and Nature

2. Video Approval: Before the competition, all video reels submitted will
be reviewed and approved by the head coordinator of the corresponding
event.

3. Registration Process: All participants must complete the registration


process by filling out a Google form provided by the event organizers.

4. Time Limit: Each video should not exceed the predetermined time limit
(1-4 minutes).

5. Number of Entries: Each participant is allowed to submit only one


video reel for the event. All participants must register their names for
the event before 9th May 2023. Late registrations will not be accepted.

6. Submission Deadline: The deadline for submitting the video reel will
be communicated in advance, and late submissions will not be accepted.

7. Appropriate Content: The video reel should not include any content
that is offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.

8. Judging Criteria: The judging criteria for the event will be


communicated in advance, and participants will be evaluated based on
creativity, originality, production quality, and other relevant factors.

9. Awards: The winner of the event will receive Trophy and all
participants will get the certificate for participation.
EVENT: Dancing Competition

Rule set for dancing competition


1. Costumes must be appropriate and decent.
2. No props or any other items that could potentially cause injury are not
allowed.
3. All music must be appropriate for the style of dance being performed.
4. All dancers must perform within the specified time limit.
5. All competitors must follow the coordinator instructions.
6. All competitors must respect one another.
7. All competitors must abide by the rules set forth by the competition.
8. All competitors must remain in the designated area during the competition.
9. All competitors must obey the judge’s decisions.
10. The time duration for the dance competition should be maximum upto 5
minutes.
11. Song should be submitted before one day.
12. Judges decision will be the final decision.
EVENT: Singing Competition
Rules set for Singing:
1. Song should not exceed above 5 minutes.
2. Only solo and duet entries allowed.
3. No language barrier in songs.
4. Songs should be decent.
5. Only mike will be made available. Other instruments, background
music, karaoke, etc should be bought on your own and should be
submitted to student coordinator before one day of the competition.
6. Name and karaoke/instrumental files of the Song should be
submitted before one day.
7. Judges decision will be the final decision.
EVENT: AD MAD SHOW
(Advertisement Making Competition)
 A group of four to seven students, will be asked to create a fun filled
advertisement of a given product.
 Students must present a conceptual advertise for a product or a service.
 Students will act out a script and present ideas relevant.
 Teams would be required to formulate a catch line for the proposed
product.
 Different forms of expression like short skits, jingles, slogans, or any
other innovative form can be incorporated.

RULES AND REGULATIONS


1. The Ad Mad Show topics will be provided on the spot.
2. Min 4 and max 7 participants per team are allowed.
3. Each team will have 10 minutes for the preparation.
4. Maximum Time Limit for performing the Ad is 5 minutes. In case any
team exceeds the time limit, it will be disqualified.(There will be a warning
bell before one minute)
5. The criteria for assessment include content, spontaneity, adherence to the
topic,coordination, appeal of the advertisement, humor, and performance on
the stage.
6. There should be no exposure to biases against any caste or community or
religion through your performance.
7. Caution should be taken to refrain from displaying obscenity, violence,
prejudice,defamation, etc. in advertisements.
8. Using vulgar expressions and language will lead to team disqualification.
9. No cell phones & electronic gadgets will be permitted to use.
10. In the whole event, the judges’ decision will be final, irrevocable, and
binding to everyone.
Criteria for Judgment:
Content information, Awareness, and HumourSpontaneity/ Acting/ fluency / Originality / Creativity / Teamwork
/ Concept of ad,Appeal of the Advertisement,Delivery of message,Overall Script and PlayAwards:
Top one team will be awarded
EVENT: Treasure Hunt
1. No phones allowed during the entire game.

2. All teammates must be registered.

3. No teams will be entertained for registration after 8 May,2023

5 There will be only one round.

6. The clues/chits should not get damaged.

7 Following violations will result in disqualification

A. Cheating

B. Copying from others

C. Caught using phone

D. Misbehaving with the Damaging any property/belongings of


college/coordinators

E. If you were found the chit of other group please keep it their
only,please do not hide it or kept with you or destroy it.

8.Judges Decisions will be final.

9.once any team got all the clues and find the treasure ,the game will be
finished at that time.
EVENT: Blind Coding Competition
Guidelines:
•There will be two rounds in the competition- i) blind coding and ii) error
finding/detection.
• Participants will be assigned a computer and the screen of the computers
will be turned off.
• Participants will then be given the problem statement and they will be asked
to type the proper
code for the execution of the problem statement.
• Participant who is able to complete typing of correct code firstly will be
selected in second round.
• Participants will not be allowed to modify the code once they have
submitted the code for
execution.

ERROR DETECTION
Rules:
1. The competition will provide a set of code each of which contains errors.
The errors may
include syntax errors, logic errors, or runtime errors.
2. Participants will be given a fixed amount of time to identify as many errors
as possible in the
code provided.
3. The competition will be judged based on the number of errors identified
correctly and the
speed at which errors are identified.
4. In the case of ties, the winner will be determined based on the speed at
which errors were
identified.
5. Any form of cheating or plagiarism will result in immediate
disqualification.
6. Prizes or recognition may be awarded to the top-performing participants.
7. Judges decision will be the final decision.
8.All Participants will get the certificate.
EVENT: Poster Making Competition

Topic-Nature/Enviroment
1. Poster will be drawn on Full Card-Sheet Paper
2. Poster should be handmade.(printed posters not accepted)
3. You can paint, draw and paste the cuttings of old
newspapers and magazines.
4. Content Is Important, but Keep It Concise
5. Poster should contain title & slogan / punch line.
6. Prepare your poster in line with your theme.
7. You should able to explain the content in your poster, five
minutes will beallotted for the explanation.
8. Judges decision will be final.
EVENT: Best From Waste

1. One useful/decorative article out of waste materials can be made.

2. Waste material could be anything like tetra packs, bottles, newspapers,


old utensils, jute material or any second hand items that otherwise
would be thrown away.

3. Other than waste material, glue/fevicol, pins, colours, lace, scissors,


thread etc. can be used to enhance and give finishing to Art work.

4. Criteria for judging: actual waste element of the raw material used,
innovation and creativity, usability / practicality of the object made,
presentation to the judges utilisation of resources, artistic composition
and design, eco-friendly rating, utility of the product.

5. The model will be rejected if not found to be a waste product or second


hand item
