Abstract
The floating floor must carry a load of 2200kg / 𝒎𝟐 at Area of 12 𝒎𝟐 at the simulation equipment
with stand sand bag So we calculate metal grid in this Area (of using the cannon( to make sure that the
floating floor can carry this load, which makes the working of the dome safe.
Introduction
There are no industry standards for floating floor loading performance that all manufacturers agree upon.
The Ceiling & Interiors Systems Construction Association (CISCA) publishes "Recommended Test
Procedures for Access and Floating Floors" which establish procedures for testing of any type of load can
applied on the floating floor grid. These test procedures do not set standards for test results. That’s
products are tested and certified in accordance with the CISCA publication.
Industry standards
I-Codes & Standards
The calculations have been carried out according to the rules and codes of the following institutes and
societies:
• ANSI/AISC 360-10
II-Description
The structure is constituted by structural steel floor hollow square columns 40x40mm thickness 1.1mm
formed grades of 600mm x 300mm and 600mm x 600mm joint with anti-vibration damper 35mm height
dimension of damper length 40 mm and width 40mm location of antivibration every cross of the grad
have one damper all grades 600 x 300 and 600x600 filled with rock wool thickness 50mm dynasty
70kg/m3 .the grad wrapped with bubble plastic sheet on the top only and fill with concrete with Egyptian
sunny marble tile 90x 60 to be installed staggered covered with carpet pad 10mm and carpet of 8mm on
it.

Calculation Methodology
Using analytical methods calculation and simulation software AutoCAD, Revit structures ,and SAP2000
as required for the structural analysis offers a wide range of code-based design features for steel frame
interface to perform modeling, analysis, design, and reporting.

Conclusion:
By Applying the loads of :
Case 1: (60*60) mesh
d- Self-weight of the structure
e- Floor cover 200 kg/m
f- Live load 600 kg/m
Case 2: (30*60) mesh
d- Self-weight of the structure
e- Floor cover 200 kg/m
f- Live load 700 kg/m
, By using the load combinations:
A – working
Case 1: Working load = dead + live = 800 kg/m
Case 2: Working load = dead + live = 900 kg/m
b- ult
Case 1: Ultimate load = 1.4 dead + 1.6 live = 1240 kg/m
Case 2: Ultimate load = 1.4 dead + 1.6 live = 1400 kg/m
On the new design of the floating floor grade system, using the simulation equipment at Area of
12 𝒎𝟐 on the dome floor of the new design is safe and does not cause any danger to the structure.
